Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Kreasi Cipta Makanan Minuman ASUH untuk Mengembangkan Potensi Jiwa Wirausaha sejak Dini bagi WNI di Wilayah Ladang Sawit Malaysia Training and Mentoring in the Creation of ASUH Food and Beverages to Develop the Potential for an Entrepreneurial Spirit from an Early Age among WNI in Oil Palm Plantation Areas in Malaysia
Main Article Content
Abstract
The limited number of food and beverage vendors in oil palm plantation areas creates opportunities for business development among Indonesian citizens (WNI), particularly through the provision of products that meet the principles of safety, healthfulness, freedom from adulteration, and halal compliance (ASUH). Taking advantage of these opportunities requires an understanding of ASUH food and the ability to develop creativity and product innovation. This community service activity aimed to improve Indonesian citizens’ understanding of ASUH food and beverages and equip them with the knowledge to develop their entrepreneurial potential at an early stage. The activity involved training and mentoring on ASUH principles and the development of creative food and beverage products to prepare participants to start a business. The results showed a 19.8% increase in participants’ understanding. These results indicate that the training helped strengthen participants’ knowledge of ASUH food and beverages. This knowledge can serve as an initial foundation for entrepreneurship and can also be applied to food provision for families. Thus, this activity makes a practical contribution to improving understanding of ASUH food and supporting the development of Indonesian citizens’ entrepreneurial potential in oil palm plantation areas through creativity and product innovation.
