Pengaruh Kualitas Sistem, Kualitas Informasi, dan Kualitas Layanan terhadap Penggunaan Sistem SMILE di Universitas Negeri Padang The Effect of System Quality, Information Quality, and Service Quality on the Use of the SMILE System at Universitas Negeri Padang
Main Article Content
Abstract
The use of Learning Management Systems (LMSs) has become an important component in supporting digital learning in higher education; however, empirical evidence regarding the factors that determine the use of the SMILE System at Universitas Negeri Padang remains limited. This study aimed to analyze the effects of system quality, information quality, and service quality on the use of the SMILE System. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey design involving 90 active students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Negeri Padang. The respondents were selected through purposive sampling based on the criterion that they had used the SMILE System at least three times within one month. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that system quality had a positive and significant effect on the use of the SMILE System (β = 0.243; p = 0.042), whereas service quality exerted the strongest positive effect (β = 0.660; p < 0.001). Conversely, information quality did not have a significant effect on system use (β = −0.099; p = 0.179). These findings reinforce the relevance of the DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success Model in the LMS context and indicate that the use of the SMILE System is determined more by system quality and service quality than by information quality. Therefore, improvements in system reliability and the quality of support services should be prioritized to promote the sustained use of the SMILE System.
