Aims and Scope
MASALIQ: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Sains publishes peer-reviewed scholarship that advances education and science through theoretically grounded and methodologically rigorous research with clear contributions to knowledge and practice. The journal welcomes disciplinary and interdisciplinary work, including science education/STEM studies that connect scientific inquiry with evidence-based teaching and learning innovation in diverse educational and societal contexts.

Encourage scholarship on science education and STEM/STEAM that strengthens scientific literacy, inquiry and laboratory learning, learning media development, and evidence-based interventions in schools and higher education.
Promote Research Integrity and Ethical Practice
Uphold ethical compliance, responsible scholarship, and transparent reporting, including appropriate approvals/consent where applicable, and encourage reproducible practices that enhance credibility and impact.
Scope
MASALIQ considers original research articles, applied innovation reports, methodological papers, conceptual/theoretical analyses, and systematic/scoping reviews across education and science, including integrative studies in science education/STEM. Submissions should demonstrate methodological rigor (quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, modeling, or interpretive approaches as appropriate), ethical compliance (where applicable), and clear relevance to at least one core stream.
1) Teaching, Learning, and Assessment
Pedagogical innovation, instructional strategies, classroom assessment, formative feedback, learning analytics, and interventions that improve learning outcomes across educational levels.
2) Curriculum, Learning Resources, and Educational Technology
Curriculum design and implementation, learning resources, digital pedagogy, learning media development, AI-supported learning, and technology integration evaluated with robust methods.
3) Science Education, STEM/STEAM, and Scientific Literacy
STEM/STEAM education, inquiry- and laboratory-based learning, science process skills, scientific literacy, assessment of science learning, and curriculum innovation in science education.
4) Applied Sciences, Technology, and Innovation
Applied research in science and technology, innovation and prototyping, translational studies, data-driven approaches, and implementation research with clear relevance for education and/or society.

Data science and statistics for education and science, computational modeling, analytics, instrumentation and measurement, and methodological advances that improve research quality and reproducibility.

Service-learning, community-based education, school–community partnerships, participatory action research, and applied programs with measurable outcomes for society and educational improvement.
Types of Manuscripts Considered
MASALIQ considers, among others: empirical quantitative studies, qualitative research (including case studies and classroom-based inquiry), mixed-methods research, experimental and quasi-experimental designs, design-based research and development/evaluation studies, applied research and innovation reports (interventions, implementations, prototypes, evaluations), methodological and technical papers (instruments, datasets, protocols, software), conceptual/theoretical analyses, and systematic or scoping reviews with transparent search, selection, and synthesis procedures. Submissions must present clear research questions or arguments, transparent methods, robust analysis, and ethical compliance (including appropriate approvals/consent where applicable).
