Peer Review Process

ALSYS: Jurnal Keislaman dan Ilmu Pendidikan is a blind peer-reviewed journal. For publication, every article that enters the editorial staff will be selected through an Initial Review process by the Editorial Board. Then, the article will be sent to two Peer Reviewers and will enter the next selection through a blind peer review process. After that, the article will be returned to the author for revision. This process takes a month for maximum time. In each manuscript, the peer reviewer will assess the substantial and technical aspects. The peer reviewer who collaborated with JAS (ALSYS Journal) is an expert in Islamic Studies, Management, and Education. They are experienced in managing and publishing well-known journals throughout Indonesia.

All submitted manuscripts are read by the editorial staff. Manuscripts that are evaluated by the editor inappropriately the journal's criteria are immediately rejected without external review. Manuscript evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are sent to reviewers. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewer's recommendation from among several possibilities: rejected, revision required, or accepted.

The editor has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.
