Inclusive education is an effort to provide equal opportunities for all students, including students with special needs, to obtain fair and non-discriminatory educational services. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of inclusive education policies and identify the factors influencing their implementation in Koto Tangah Subdistrict, Padang City. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation with informants consisting of representatives from UPTD LDPI, school principals, teachers, and parents of students. The results showed that, in the curriculum aspect, schools used the Kurikulum Merdeka without written modifications; however, in practice, teachers adjusted learning and assessment according to the abilities of students with special needs. In the aspect of teaching staff, there were still limitations in teachers’ understanding and skills in inclusive education, and the availability of Special Guidance Teachers (GPK) was not yet evenly distributed across all schools. In the aspect of facilities and infrastructure, the available facilities were still general in nature and did not fully support the needs of students with special needs, particularly in terms of accessibility for persons with disabilities. The factors influencing the implementation of inclusive education included communication, resources, implementers’ attitudes, and bureaucratic structure. These findings confirm that the implementation of inclusive education in Koto Tangah Subdistrict has been supported by several policy-related factors but still requires strengthening in the equitable distribution of information, improvement of teacher competence, availability of human resources, and provision of more inclusive facilities and infrastructure. The implications of this study indicate the importance of coordination among stakeholders in strengthening the implementation of inclusive education policies so that educational services for students with special needs can operate more optimally.
Indah Afrelia Edison, Sinta Westika Putri

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/9883

Excellent and high-quality human resources are an important factor in supporting the achievement of organizational goals, including in the banking sector, which requires employees to work professionally and demonstrate voluntary work behavior beyond their formal duties. This study aimed to analyze the effect of quality of work life and knowledge management on the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of employees at Bank Nagari Simpang Empat Branch. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey design. The research population included all 84 employees of Bank Nagari Simpang Empat Branch, consisting of 53 permanent employees and 31 outsourced employees. The sampling technique used was total sampling, so the entire population was included as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25.0. The results showed that quality of work life had a positive and significant effect on OCB. Knowledge management also had a positive and significant effect on OCB. Simultaneously, the two variables had a positive and significant effect on employees’ OCB. These findings confirm that improving the quality of work life and knowledge management plays an important role in encouraging employees’ voluntary work behavior. The implications of this study indicate the need for banking organizations to strengthen a work environment that supports employee well-being and optimize knowledge management as a human resource development strategy oriented toward improving organizational performance.
Helli Fransisca, Suhelmi Helia

Although parental involvement in children’s learning has been widely examined in previous studies, research that specifically addresses home-based early reading assistance strategies and the challenges encountered remains limited. This study aims to describe the role of parents, identify assistance strategies, and analyze the challenges in children’s early reading learning at home. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 15 parents of children aged 5–6 years who were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that parents served as facilitators, companions, and motivators in the early reading learning process. Assistance strategies were implemented gradually, starting from letter recognition to reading simple words, by utilizing media such as picture books and letter cards. The challenges encountered included children’s low concentration, the emergence of boredom, and parents’ limited time. In addition, the quality of interaction between parents and children was found to have a greater influence than the intensity of assistance. These findings contribute to the development of the concept of family-based early childhood literacy and emphasize the importance of effective parental involvement in supporting children’s early reading skills.
Sri Rahayuningsih, Diah Wahyuningsih

Narcotics abuse and illicit trafficking constitute public issues that require interagency coordination, particularly between BNNP and Polda. Although coordination in the Prevention and Eradication of Narcotics Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (P4GN) Program has been widely discussed, studies on the implementation of cooperation agreements between BNNP and Polda in regional contexts remain limited. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Cooperation Agreement Number PKS/03/Ka/X/HK.00/2020/BNNP between BNNP West Sumatra and Polda West Sumatra in the P4GN Program. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach involving 14 informants selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results showed that the implementation of the cooperation agreement had not run optimally. The six scopes of cooperation, namely data exchange, prevention, law enforcement, police medical services, human resource capacity building, and personnel assistance, had not been fully implemented formally. Cooperation took place more informally, situationally, and based on personal relationships. These findings confirm that revitalization of the cooperation agreement is needed through the formulation of joint technical SOPs, regular coordination forums, a documented data exchange system, cross-institutional training, and continuous monitoring and evaluation to strengthen the effectiveness of P4GN Program implementation in the regions.
Shafira Apriananda, Hasbullah Malau

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/9913

Although adolescent participation in community-based religious activities has received attention in various previous studies, research that specifically discusses the causes of low participation as a direct problem of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the context of rural Java remains limited. This study aims to analyze the factors causing low adolescent participation in religious activities and to explain how these factors become fundamental problems for PAI in Janti Jogoroto Village, Jombang. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, involving 12 informants consisting of adolescents, parents, and religious figures selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed that low adolescent participation was caused by a combination of internal factors, such as low interest, laziness, lack of self-confidence, shyness, and fatigue due to school or work, as well as external factors, such as strong peer influence, social media distractions, monotonous activities, and limited access to facilities. These factors become problems for PAI because they indicate a gap between cognitive understanding and religious practice, weak internalization of Islamic values, and the incompatibility of conventional PAI approaches with the developmental characteristics of adolescents. These findings contribute to the development of nonformal PAI studies by integrating Ajzen’s Theory of Planned Behavior and Durkheim’s functionalism, and expand understanding of the role of socio-digital factors in mediating religious education outcomes in rural communities. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that low adolescent participation plays an important role in weakening the sustainability of communal religious traditions, so parents, religious figures, PAI teachers, village governments, and religious institutions need to design mentoring strategies that are more collaborative, empowering for adolescents, and adaptive to digital development.
Leila Aisya Bella, Emi Lilawati, M.
The limited number of studies on the implementation of cooperative learning models integrated with digital media indicates the need for learning innovations that can improve students’ conceptual understanding in IPAS learning in elementary schools. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) cooperative learning model assisted by the Qreatif.id application on students’ understanding of the food chain concept. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving 32 students selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected using test instruments in the form of pretests and posttests, and were then analyzed through the N-Gain test and t-test with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed a significant increase in students’ conceptual understanding, as indicated by higher posttest and N-Gain scores in the experimental class than in the control class. This finding reinforces the relevance of constructivist theory in learning, particularly through students’ active involvement in connecting, organizing, reflecting on, and extending the concepts learned. Thus, the CORE cooperative learning model assisted by the Qreatif.id application plays an important role in improving elementary school students’ understanding of the food chain concept. The implications of this study include theoretical contributions to the development of constructivist-based learning models and practical recommendations for teachers to utilize interactive digital media in the IPAS learning process.
Nur’aina Nur’aina, Sarah Fazilla, Rosimanidar Rosimanidar

The exemplary conduct of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering students’ moral character has received attention in various previous studies, but studies that specifically discuss its implementation in the context of public schools and the dynamics of supporting and inhibiting factors remain limited. This study aimed to explore in depth the implementation of PAI teachers’ exemplary conduct in fostering students’ moral character at SMAN 5 Bukittinggi. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research participants consisted of PAI teachers, students, and school personnel selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that PAI teachers’ exemplary conduct was implemented in various dimensions, including worship, personal morality, communication, discipline, social interaction, and behavioral consistency, which had a positive impact on students’ moral development. However, several student moral problems were still found to be influenced by external factors, such as social media, as well as teachers’ limited time to provide intensive guidance. This finding contributes to the development of Islamic education theory and social learning by expanding understanding of exemplary conduct-based moral character development in the context of modern education. Thus, teachers’ exemplary conduct is a key factor in fostering students’ moral character, so schools need to strengthen religious culture and improve supervision of external influences that may affect students’ behavior.
Agus Salim, Imamuddin Imamuddin

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/9979

The urgency of oversight over government power has become increasingly critical in the administration of the modern state, which is vulnerable to the abuse of authority and uncontrolled executive discretion. Although previous studies have examined government oversight from the perspectives of administrative law and institutions, these studies tend to be partial and have not integrated legislative oversight, judicial review, and internal oversight mechanisms into a holistic constitutional law framework. This study aimed to analyze the mechanisms for overseeing government power in the Indonesian constitutional law system, evaluate their effectiveness in preventing the abuse of power, identify juridical obstacles, and formulate recommendations for improvement. This study used a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Data were collected through a literature review of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials from the 2016–2024 period and then analyzed through the stages of inventory, systematization, norm interpretation, and legal construction. The study was conducted from January to August 2024. The results showed that the Indonesian constitutional law system has provided a comprehensive normative framework for oversight through legislative oversight by the DPR, judicial oversight by the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court, as well as external and internal oversight through the BPK, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, and APIP. However, the effectiveness of oversight still faces significant weaknesses, as indicated by 29% of BPK audit recommendations not being followed up, Indonesia’s Corruption Perceptions Index score of 34/100 with a ranking of 115/180, and the continued compromise of the institutional independence of supervisory bodies. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that although a comprehensive normative framework for oversight is already available, its effectiveness remains hindered by regulatory disharmony, limited institutional independence, and procedural complexity. This study contributes by offering a reconstruction of an oversight framework based on integrative constitutionalism through regulatory harmonization in an umbrella law, strengthening the executorial authority of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, and modernizing the oversight system through technology-based e-monitoring.
Muhammat Davi, M.
Railway safety is an important aspect of the public transportation system, particularly at level crossings that have a high risk of accidents. In Pariaman City, especially at the Simpang Lohong crossing, the implementation of railway safety standard policies has not been optimal and has generated various external impacts on the community. This study aimed to analyze the forms of externalities arising from the implementation of railway safety standard policies and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The research informants were selected using purposive sampling, involving PT Kereta Api Indonesia, the Pariaman City Transportation Agency, Balai Teknik Perkeretaapian Class II Padang, as well as local communities and road users. The results showed that there were three forms of externalities, namely ownership externalities, technical externalities, and public goods externalities. Ownership externalities were characterized by the suboptimal division of authority among institutions, technical externalities were reflected in limited facilities and undisciplined road-user behavior, while public goods externalities were indicated by low public awareness in using and maintaining safety facilities. Supporting factors for policy implementation included clear regulations, the availability of facilities, and the active role of relevant institutions. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors included budget limitations, administrative constraints, limited human resources, and low public awareness. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the implementation of railway safety policies in Pariaman City has not been fully effective and still requires comprehensive improvement through strengthening institutional coordination, optimizing safety facilities, and increasing public awareness. These findings imply the importance of more integrated level-crossing safety governance within the framework of public transportation policy.
Rafelia Putri Hidayat

Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) is one of the government’s social assistance programs aimed at reducing poverty and improving the welfare of poor and vulnerable communities through assistance in education, health, and social welfare. However, the implementation of this program still faces problems related to the effectiveness of data collection and the accuracy of beneficiary targeting. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of PKH in Lubuk Begalung Subdistrict, Gurun Laweh Nan XX Urban Village, with a focus on the effectiveness of data collection and the accuracy of beneficiary targeting. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving informants from the Social Affairs Office, PKH facilitators, urban village officials, and beneficiary communities. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of PKH had administratively proceeded according to procedures, but substantively it was not yet optimal. The main problem lay in the weak validation and updating of beneficiary data, resulting in targeting inaccuracies, both in the form of inclusion error and exclusion error. In addition, the lack of field verification, data inconsistency among institutions, and limited public access to complaint mechanisms also hindered the effectiveness of the program. This condition resulted in some poor families still not receiving assistance, while some beneficiaries no longer met the criteria. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening an accurate and sustainable data collection system, improving interinstitutional coordination, and optimizing the role of facilitators and community participation in data verification. The implications of this study indicate that the effectiveness of PKH implementation depends heavily on the quality of data governance and verification mechanisms so that the program is more accurately targeted and has a tangible impact on improving the welfare of poor communities.
Ulya Sabina Putri, Artha Dini Akmal

The Hoyak Tabuik tradition is a cultural heritage of the people of Pariaman City that has historical, social, religious, and cultural values, while also serving as one of the region’s leading cultural tourism attractions. However, changing times, budget constraints, and low youth involvement have become challenges in preservation efforts. This study aimed to analyze the role of the Tourism and Culture Office of Pariaman City in preserving the Hoyak Tabuik tradition and to identify inhibiting and supporting factors in its implementation. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving informants consisting of the Head of the Culture and Creative Economy Division, Junior Expert Cultural Officer, Tabuik organizing committee, tuo Tabuik, and the community of Pariaman City. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Tourism and Culture Office of Pariaman City had carried out its roles as a regulator, dynamizer, facilitator, and catalyst in preserving the Hoyak Tabuik tradition. These roles were realized through the formulation of technical policies, coordination among institutions and the community, provision of budgets and supporting facilities, and cultural promotion through social media and digital media. The inhibiting factors in preservation included budget constraints, the absence of a specific Regional Regulation, differences in community perspectives, and the lack of youth involvement. Meanwhile, the supporting factors included local government support, the involvement of tuo Tabuik and the community, high tourist enthusiasm, and the strong cultural values of the people of Pariaman City. Thus, this study affirms that the preservation of the Hoyak Tabuik tradition requires strengthened regulation, budgetary support, institutional coordination, digital cultural promotion, and active youth participation so that the sustainability of local cultural heritage can be maintained more effectively.
Whindy Hijratul Khaira, Syamsir Syamsir

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10038

The Lauhun method is a Qur’an memorization technique that emphasizes repetition through the writing of verses by students on a blackboard after the memorization recitation process. Although Qur’an memorization methods have been widely studied, studies that specifically discuss the effectiveness of the Lauhun method in improving the quality and quantity of memorization remain limited. This study aimed to examine the application of the Lauhun method in improving students’ Qur’an memorization ability at Pondok Pesantren Putri Hikmatun Najiyah Sidosermo, Surabaya. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Participants were selected purposively, while data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the application of the Lauhun method in Qur’an memorization learning. The results showed that the Lauhun method was able to improve the quality and quantity of students’ memorization. This improvement was reflected in the increased number of memorized verses, enhanced understanding of verse meanings, and the growth of students’ motivation and self-confidence in the memorization process. These findings indicate that the Lauhun method contributes to the development of understanding-based tahfidz learning, not merely to the quantitative strengthening of memorization. Thus, this study affirms the importance of balancing the quantity of memorization and the understanding of verse meanings in pesantren education. Practically, the Lauhun method can serve as an alternative Qur’an learning strategy in pesantren and open opportunities for further research in other Islamic education contexts.
Ulumil Ishthifaiyah, Mufaizah Mufaizah

This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design, involving 84 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a cyberloafing scale and a student engagement scale, and were then analyzed using Pearson Product-Moment correlation. The results showed that the level of cyberloafing was in the low-to-moderate category, with a mean score of M = 53.01 from a theoretical range of 20–100, whereas student engagement was in the moderate-to-high category, with a mean score of M = 76.52 from a theoretical range of 24–120. The correlation analysis results indicated a significant negative relationship between cyberloafing and student engagement, with r = -0.422 and p = 0.000. These findings indicate that the higher students’ involvement in non-academic activities during online lectures, such as accessing social media or playing games, the lower their engagement in learning. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of controlling cyberloafing to maintain students’ academic engagement. The implications of this study suggest that lecturers and educational institutions should design more interactive online learning and encourage students’ self-regulation so that learning engagement can be maintained.
Fathimah Az Zahra, Indriyani Santoso

Although the integration of the pesantren curriculum and the national curriculum has received attention in several previous studies, research that specifically discusses its systematic implementation at the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages in the context of a six-year madrasah remains limited. This study aims to describe the concept of integrating the pesantren curriculum and the national curriculum and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving the Vice Principal for Curriculum as the main informant selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model of thematic analysis through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that curriculum integration was implemented through three systematic stages, namely planning in the form of curriculum integration and strengthening of pesantren subjects, implementation through integrated daily scheduling without rigid separation, and evaluation through periodic assessment by the curriculum development team. Supporting factors for the integration included adequate facilities, the use of academic technology, and qualified teacher backgrounds, whereas inhibiting factors included suboptimal student discipline and some teachers who were not yet optimal in delivering the material. These findings contribute to the development of an integrative curriculum model in Islamic education and broaden understanding of pesantren-based formal education management. Thus, systematic curriculum integration is important for balancing academic achievement and spiritual formation, while also providing practical implications for madrasah leaders, teachers, and policymakers in strengthening teacher training, discipline systems, and effective dual-curriculum management.
Khasanatun Na’imah, Wahyudi Wahyudi

Bad loans or Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) are one of the significant problems in banking because they can reduce banks’ income and financial performance, including at PT BPR Wutama Artha Jaya Jember. This condition occurs when customers are unable or unwilling to fulfill their credit payment obligations in accordance with the agreed contract. This study aims to analyze the role of collection in handling customers experiencing bad loans and to identify the risk management strategies used in handling bad loans at PT BPR Wutama Artha Jaya Jember. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, summarization, and report preparation. Data validity was ensured through data triangulation. The results showed that collection plays a role not only as the party responsible for debt collection but also as the implementer of monitoring, communication, and persuasive approaches to customers. In practice, the handling of bad loans needs to consider the optimization of credit analysis through the application of the prudential principle based on the 5C principle in credit risk assessment. The factors causing bad loans were identified as originating from internal and external factors. The risk management strategies used included risk identification, measurement, control, and mitigation, as well as the implementation of the 3R strategy, namely rescheduling, reconditioning, and restructuring, as the main effort in handling bad loans. The conclusion of this study affirms that the optimal role of collection and the implementation of systematic risk management strategies contribute to minimizing the risk of bad loans in rural banks.
Mohammad Mirza Pratama, M Nur Cholis

The increasing environmental problems resulting from community economic activities that pay insufficient attention to ecological sustainability indicate the importance of a religion-based value approach in developing environmentally friendly economic behavior. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic ecotheological values in shaping environmentally friendly economic behavior among the community in Pringkuku Subdistrict. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation involving community members, religious leaders, and local economic actors. The results show that the community does not yet understand the concept of the green economy theoretically, but has implemented environmentally friendly economic behavior through habits of frugal living, maintaining environmental cleanliness, using natural resources wisely, and using organic fertilizers. Islamic ecotheological values, such as the concept of khalifah, the prohibition against causing damage, and the principle of simple living, play a role in shaping the community’s ecological awareness. However, the implementation of environmentally friendly behavior still faces obstacles in the form of low environmental literacy, limited waste management facilities, and the influence of modern consumerist culture. This study concludes that religious values make an important contribution to supporting the implementation of the green economy in rural communities. The implications of this study indicate that an ecological approach based on religious values can serve as an alternative strategy for building environmental awareness and supporting sustainable community development.
Elen Wahyu Wijatmoko, Dian Tias Aorta

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10155

Begging remains a complex social issue that continues to challenge public order, social welfare, and human dignity. This problem is closely associated with poverty, limited access to education, and the influence of individuals’ social environments. This study aims to describe the characteristics of begging behavior, identify its triggering factors, analyze its impacts, and propose intervention strategies through an Islamic Guidance and Counseling approach integrated with behavior modification techniques. A qualitative descriptive-analytical method was employed to examine the internal and external dimensions of begging behavior. The findings indicate that begging arises from the interaction between individual internal conditions and external social influences. Internal factors include irrational thinking, dependency tendencies, and limited understanding of religious values, whereas external factors include structural poverty, limited employment opportunities, and a cultural environment that allows or supports begging practices. The phenomenon negatively affects public order, reduces environmental comfort, and reinforces long-term dependence on assistance from others. The study concludes that comprehensive intervention should involve strengthening religious awareness, correcting erroneous thought patterns, developing positive habits, and reinforcing spiritual values. These findings contribute to the study of social pathology and Islamic counseling by demonstrating that an integrated Islamic Guidance and Counseling and behavior modification approach can help individuals develop independence, work motivation, self-worth, and human dignity, thereby reducing dependence on begging.
Siti Cahaya, Heldayanti Heldayanti, Nor Fatmah

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10218

Global economic fluctuations and declining public purchasing power in the post-pandemic period have become challenges for the food and beverage industry in maintaining consistent net profit growth. This study aims to analyze the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on the profit growth of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2025 period. This study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 21 companies selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 105 observational data. The data were analyzed using classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression. The results show that ROA, ROE, and NPM simultaneously had a significant effect on profit growth (Fcount = 45.141 > Ftable = 2.69; p < 0.05). Partially, ROA had a positive and significant effect on profit growth (t = 3.284; p = 0.001), and ROE also had a positive and significant effect (t = 5.325; p = 0.000). Conversely, NPM had no significant effect on profit growth (t = -1.505; p = 0.135). The Adjusted R Square value of 0.560 indicates that ROA, ROE, and NPM were able to explain 56% of the variation in profit growth, while the remaining 44% was influenced by other factors outside the research model. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that profit growth in the food and beverage sector is determined more by the efficiency of asset management and the effectiveness of optimizing equity capital than by the net profit margin from sales. The implications of this study indicate the importance of improving the efficiency of fixed asset utilization, strengthening a healthy capital structure, and developing more economical product innovation for company management, as well as using ROA and ROE as the main fundamental indicators for investors in making investment decisions.
Erlina Devinta, Sri Laksmi Pardanawati, Indra Lila Kusuma

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10223

The rapid expansion of social media in Indonesia, with 139 million active users spending more than three hours online daily, has increasingly blurred the boundary between private marital life and public spectacle. This condition has intensified digital jealousy, social comparison, and dramaturgical self-presentation, which may strain relationship quality and shape young people’s perceptions of marriage. This study aims to analyze social media pressures on marital dynamics among Indonesia’s younger generation, particularly Gen Z and millennials, by drawing on Goffman’s dramaturgical theory to examine mechanisms related to idealized expectations, negative marital narratives, and relational conflict. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study conducted a systematic literature review of secondary sources published between 2016 and 2026, including journals, books, and reports. The data were analyzed through content analysis involving open, axial, and selective coding, with triangulation used to strengthen validity. The findings indicate that social media amplifies upward comparison through curated “front-stage” representations of marital harmony, while digital jealousy, phubbing, and cyber-infidelity contribute to declining trust and relational dissatisfaction. Negative viral content also appears to delay marriage commitments among younger generations. Intensive social media use is associated with a 15% decline in marital satisfaction and increasing divorce trends, although media literacy and family values function as important moderating factors. The study concludes that social media pressures pose a growing challenge to family institutions, yet targeted interventions, including digital literacy, premarital counseling, and the promotion of realistic relational content, may help mitigate these risks. The study contributes to family sociology and digital society literature by clarifying how online visibility, comparison, and mediated interaction reshape contemporary marital expectations and relationship stability.
Dedek Nur Annisa, Dinda Meliasari, Shofi Aulia Rahma Rambe, Tessalonika Christmas, Hairani Siregar

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10256

This study examines the intertextuality of God’s dialogue with Moses in the Qur’an and the Torah through Julia Kristeva’s perspective. The research is motivated by narrative similarities between divine dialogue accounts in the two sacred texts, which indicate intertextual relations and meaning transformation. This study aims to identify the forms of intertextual relations between God’s dialogue with Moses in the Qur’an and the Torah and to reveal the processes through which meaning is transformed within these narratives. A qualitative library research approach was employed by analyzing Qur’an 20:11–14, Qur’an 4:164, Qur’an 7:143, and selected Torah passages, namely Exodus 3:1–6, Exodus 3:14, and Numbers 12:8. The analysis was conducted using Kristeva’s concepts of genotext and phenotext, supported by the principles of parallelism, transformation, modification, haplology, and demythification. The findings indicate that the Qur’an has a close intertextual relationship with the Torah as a genotext, yet this relationship is transformational rather than reproductive. The Qur’an preserves the narrative pattern of divine dialogue while simplifying symbols, adapting meanings, and affirming monotheism and divine transcendence within an Islamic theological framework. This study contributes to Qur’anic studies and intertextual literary analysis by demonstrating how sacred-text narratives can be examined through Kristeva’s theory to clarify continuity, transformation, and theological reinterpretation across religious traditions.
Nur Aeni Putri Gafar, Dian Nur Anna, Mar’atun Nabila

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10267

Legal protection for creditors against asset stripping practices in the restructuring of multinational corporate groups has become an important issue because asset depletion by foreign parent companies can weaken creditors’ position in bankruptcy and corporate restructuring processes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of cross-border insolvency and the doctrine of piercing the corporate veil in providing legal protection for creditors, particularly in the context of the limitations of Law No. 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) in regulating cross-border bankruptcy and asset stripping practices. This study uses a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, and functional comparative approaches to the legal systems of Indonesia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The results show that the doctrine of piercing the corporate veil in Indonesian law has not been able to reach foreign parent companies that systematically conduct asset stripping against subsidiaries in Indonesia because of the limitations of extraterritorial jurisdiction and the absence of an adequate cross-border insolvency mechanism. In addition, the reconstruction of national bankruptcy law needs to be directed toward the adoption of the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency 1997, the expansion of cross-border actio pauliana mechanisms, the strengthening of the doctrine of piercing the corporate veil with extraterritorial elements, and the regulation of substantive consolidation for multinational business groups. The conclusion of this study affirms that creditor protection in the restructuring of multinational corporate groups requires a hybrid regulatory model that integrates cross-border insolvency mechanisms into the Indonesian bankruptcy law system while maintaining national legal characteristics and needs. https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10275

The increase in narcotics crimes in Indonesia poses a serious threat to society, state security, and law enforcement because these crimes are categorized as extraordinary crimes that are organized, transnational, and have broad impacts on public health, social life, and the economy. This study aims to analyze the legal regulation of narcotics crimes, examine the position of evidence in narcotics cases, and review the application of criminal law from the perspective of special criminal law in Indonesia. This study used a normative juridical method with a qualitative approach through library research by examining laws and regulations, legal theories, journals, books, and court decisions related to narcotics crimes. The results showed that evidence has an important position in proving narcotics crimes because it serves to prove the occurrence of a criminal offense and to link the defendant to the charged criminal act. The process of seizure and forensic laboratory examination of evidence also affects the validity of proof in court proceedings. In addition, judges consider the type, quantity, and relevance of evidence in determining criminal sanctions against defendants. The conclusion of this study affirms that handling evidence professionally and in accordance with legal procedures is an important aspect of realizing legal certainty and justice in narcotics crime cases. These findings contribute to the development of studies on special criminal law and have practical implications for law enforcement officials in strengthening the governance of evidence in narcotics cases.
Nur Shaella Maharani, Felysha Azwa Tasbihta Surbakti, Annisa Febianna Manurung, Muhammad Oriza Arifin

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10276

The complexity of money laundering crimes originating from corruption offenses in Indonesia demonstrates the importance of strengthening legal studies on patterns of financial crime and their enforcement mechanisms, particularly in the case of Rafael Alun Trisambodo. This study aims to analyze the modus operandi of money laundering crimes and examine the application of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering Crimes in the context of corruption offenses. This study used a qualitative approach with a normative juridical method and a case study design. Data were obtained through library research, legal documents, scientific journals, and analysis of laws and regulations related to money laundering crimes and corruption. The data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively to understand patterns of financial crime and the effectiveness of law enforcement mechanisms. The results showed that the money laundering modus in the Rafael Alun Trisambodo case was carried out through the stages of placement, layering, and integration. The perpetrator concealed the origin of assets through the use of nominees, ownership of assets disproportionate to income, and investment transactions to obscure financial trails. This study also found that the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center has a strategic role in detecting suspicious financial transactions through the follow-the-money approach. The conclusion of this study affirms that the application of anti-money laundering law requires strengthening asset-tracing mechanisms, proving suspicious financial transactions, and institutional coordination in law enforcement. These findings provide a theoretical contribution to the development of economic criminal law studies and practical implications for law enforcement officials in strengthening the effectiveness of eradicating money laundering crimes originating from corruption.
Nayla Balqis Milwanti, Nadia Zahira Eryka, Aurelya Putri Indra, Mellysa Helvira

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10283

The use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning media in elementary education continues to develop, but research discussing teacher validation of AI content and the digital literacy of elementary school students remains relatively limited. This study aims to analyze the use of AI-based learning videos in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning, examine teachers’ strategies in validating AI content, and describe the development of students’ digital literacy during the learning process. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design involving one experienced IPAS teacher and 15 students of MI Muhammadiyah 2, Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua. Participants were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, open-ended questionnaires, observation, and document analysis. The results showed that the use of AI-based learning videos was able to increase students’ learning interest, engagement, and understanding of cultural diversity material in IPAS learning. Students gave positive responses to the animated display, audio, and interactive visuals, which made learning more interesting and easier to understand. Nevertheless, some students experienced difficulty following the information because the video transitions were too fast and the visual details were unclear. This study also found that teachers play an important role in validating AI content before it is used in learning by comparing the video material with textbooks and various other official sources. In addition, the use of AI-based videos began to train students’ digital literacy through the ability to ask questions and re-question information obtained from digital media. The conclusion of this study affirms that AI-based learning videos can serve as innovative and interactive learning media in elementary schools when accompanied by active teacher guidance and an appropriate content validation process. These findings contribute to the development of AI integration and digital literacy practices in elementary education.
Lia Farida, Oki Sandra Agnesa, Sella Nofriska Sudrimo

Although various studies have discussed the impact of globalization on Islamic education, integrative studies that comprehensively map the problems and challenges of Islamic education remain limited. This study aims to identify and classify the main problems of Islamic education in the era of globalization, analyze the challenges faced from a multidisciplinary perspective, and formulate strategic recommendations to strengthen the relevance and sustainability of Islamic education. This study used a qualitative approach with a systematic literature review design. Data were collected through systematic searching, screening, eligibility assessment, and critical review of relevant books and scholarly articles. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques combined with critical comparison to identify the main themes and explain the interrelationships among findings systemically. The results show five interrelated main problems, namely the dichotomy between religious and general sciences, students’ identity crisis, low educator competence, digital infrastructure gaps, and a curriculum that is not yet adaptive to changing times. These five issues form a complex system and weaken the ability of Islamic educational institutions to respond effectively to global dynamics. The recommended strategies include the integration of knowledge based on Islamic epistemology, the strengthening of contextual character education, the improvement of educators’ digital competence, equitable access to technology, and curriculum redesign based on learning outcomes and future competencies. This study contributes theoretically through the development of a comprehensive conceptual framework on the challenges of Islamic education and has practical implications for policymakers, educational institutions, and educators in developing an Islamic education system that is adaptive, grounded in Islamic values, and sustainable.
Keisya Angie Nurul Fatihah, Noviani Hidayah, Muhammad Afdhal Ridho, Ajahari Ajahari

The development of Islamic banking and the increasing use of digital investment services encourage banks to offer investment products that are secure, practical, and compliant with sharia principles. Tabungan E-mas has emerged as one of the innovations in digital gold investment that requires adaptive marketing strategies to reach various segments of society. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the Tabungan E-mas marketing strategy implemented by marketing officers at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Jember Sudirman Branch Office. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with marketing officers and related parties involved in marketing the Tabungan E-mas product at BSI Jember Sudirman Branch Office, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the Tabungan E-mas marketing strategy was implemented through the 7P marketing mix approach, which includes product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. Marketing officers play an important role in customer acquisition through direct socialization, Islamic investment education, personal approaches, and the use of digital media. The marketing programs implemented include Kopi Emas, Grebek Pasar, KEPO (Kunjungan Emas Promosi), and Mini Source. The dynamics of the marketing strategy are reflected in the ability of marketing officers to adjust communication methods based on customer characteristics and field conditions. However, the implementation of the strategy still faces obstacles in the form of public perceptions of usury elements, low literacy in digital gold investment, and competition among investment products. This study affirms that the success of Tabungan E-mas marketing is determined not only by product quality but also by the ability of marketing officers to build trust, provide education, and adapt marketing strategies to community needs. The implications of this study provide practical contributions for Islamic banking in designing digital investment marketing strategies that are educational, adaptive, and based on customer trust.
Savina Shafa Afkarina, Zahroh Syifaus Tiqlaliyah, Abdur Rakhman Wijaya

The development of the digital era, financial literacy, fintech e-wallet innovation, and hedonistic lifestyles have become phenomena that influence people’s consumption behavior, particularly among young people. This study aims to examine the effects of financial literacy, fintech e-wallets, and hedonistic lifestyles on consumptive behavior. This study used a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 96 respondents. The results showed that, partially, financial literacy had no significant effect on consumptive behavior with a negative direction, while fintech e-wallets had no significant effect on consumptive behavior with a positive direction. Meanwhile, a hedonistic lifestyle had a significant effect on consumptive behavior with a positive direction. These findings indicate that respondents’ level of financial understanding has not been able to effectively control consumption behavior. In addition, the ease of using digital payment technology does not directly encourage consumptive behavior. Lifestyle factors, particularly an orientation toward pleasure and satisfaction, were proven to be more dominant in influencing consumption decisions. This study contributes to the development of studies on digital consumer behavior, especially in understanding the relationship between financial literacy, digital payment technology, and hedonistic lifestyles in the consumptive behavior of young people. As a practical implication, strengthening financial literacy needs to be accompanied by the development of awareness of consumptive lifestyles so that the use of digital financial services can be better controlled.
Febriana Norchofifah Cahyani Azra, Indra Lila Kusuma, Wikan Budi Utami

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10377

Menstruation is a biological process experienced by females as part of the reproductive cycle. However, the lack of education and limited access to information about menstruation still give rise to negative stigma in society, particularly among girls who are just entering puberty. This condition may affect children’s physical, psychological, and social aspects, so an educational medium that is engaging, communicative, and child-friendly is needed. This design aims to produce an educational medium in the form of a pop-up book as a means to help girls understand and face menstruation more positively. The design was carried out using the Design Thinking method, which consists of five stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Data were collected qualitatively through interviews, surveys, and literature study, then analyzed using the SWOT approach to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the developed design concept. The design results show that a pop-up book can serve as an engaging and child-friendly educational medium for conveying information about menstruation. This medium helps improve girls’ understanding of menstruation and builds awareness of the importance of reproductive health from an early age. The conclusion of this design affirms that a pop-up book has relevance as a visual-interactive educational medium to reduce menstruation stigma and support girls’ readiness in facing puberty. The implications of this design provide practical contributions for parents, educators, and related parties in providing menstruation education media that are informative, communicative, and suited to children’s characteristics.
Maria Veronika Br Halawa, Regita Nur Amalia Putri, Sunarsih Sunarsih

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10383

The implementation of vocational internship curricula requires systematic evaluation to ensure alignment between school-based learning and labour-market demands. This study evaluates the implementation of the Industrial Work Practice Program (Prakerin) curriculum at SMKN 1 Lembah Melintang, West Pasaman Regency, using Stufflebeam’s Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) model. A quantitative descriptive-evaluative design was employed, involving purposively selected participants comprising 99 students, 20 supervising teachers, one principal, and six business and industry representatives. Data were collected using a CIPP-based questionnaire with a 4-point Likert scale, supported by documentation and field observation. The scores for each CIPP dimension were converted into percentages and categorized. The results indicate that the overall implementation of Prakerin was positive, with the context dimension reaching 78.82% (good), input 74.20% (good), process 74.01% (good), and product 73.45% (good). Stakeholder-based analysis showed that tutors and the principal provided relatively higher ratings, ranging from very good to good, whereas industry representatives and students reported lower perceptions in several areas. These findings indicate that Prakerin aligns with vocational education objectives and supports the development of students’ technical competencies and work readiness. However, persistent gaps remain in soft skills, particularly communication, discipline, and adaptability, as well as in coordination between schools and industry partners. The study recommends strengthening formal school–industry agreements through shared competency standards, enhancing pre-internship soft-skills preparation, establishing integrated monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and conducting regular facility audits and mentor training. This study contributes to vocational curriculum evaluation by demonstrating the usefulness of the CIPP model in identifying implementation strengths and gaps, with implications for improving technical and vocational education and training policy and optimizing Prakerin as a bridge between vocational schooling and the labour market.
Aisatun Nadroh, Irja Eka Putri, Khaironita Khaironita, Fildya Rizki, Liza Efriyanti

Low learning motivation among children living in orphanages is an important issue because it is characterized by a tendency to become easily bored, lack consistency in completing tasks, become easily distracted, and have low self-confidence. This condition is influenced by limited caregiver attention and the suboptimal implementation of a structured disciplinary system in the orphanage environment. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of an educational game-based intervention in increasing children’s learning motivation at Panti Asuhan X, West Jakarta. This study used a pretest-posttest design involving 8 children, consisting of 7 boys and 1 girl aged 6–13 years. The game-based learning intervention was developed based on Self-Determination Theory (SDT) through four games, namely “Human Body Monopoly,” “Flash Cards,” “UNO Stacko for Question Cards,” and “Cup Pyramid Quiz Game.” Data were collected using the Indonesian translated version of the Elementary School Motivation Scale (ESMS), which covers the dimensions of reading, writing, and completing tasks, then analyzed descriptively using IBM SPSS Statistics and Microsoft Excel. The results show an increase in the average learning motivation across the three dimensions after the intervention. The reading dimension increased from 33.00% to 34.50%, the writing dimension increased from 30.63% to 33.38%, and the highest increase occurred in the task-completion dimension, from 27.75% to 33.50%. The conclusion of the study affirms that educational game-based learning has the potential to be effective in increasing the learning motivation of children in orphanages. The implications of this study provide practical contributions for caregivers, educators, and social institutions in designing learning activities that are enjoyable, participatory, and aligned with children’s psychological needs.
Keysha Alisya Putri Sonatha, Khalida Nurluthfi, Suci Rahma Putri, Astri Anggraini Hapsara Wibowo

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10395

Basic psychological needs in Self-Determination Theory (SDT), which include autonomy, competence, and relatedness, play an important role in supporting adolescents’ psychological development. However, adolescents under the supervision of an orphanage may face obstacles in fulfilling their basic psychological needs due to limited personal support and the dynamics of the caregiving environment. This study aims to support the fulfillment of the basic psychological needs of adolescents under the supervision of Orphanage X through an SDT-based intervention program. This study used observation, interviews, and pre-test and post-test measurements using the Basic Psychological Need Satisfaction and Frustration Scale (BPNSFS). The research participants consisted of eight adolescents aged 14–16 years who were selected based on pre-test results indicating high need frustration, low need satisfaction, or a condition in which frustration was higher than satisfaction in several aspects of basic psychological needs. The intervention program was implemented through several activities, namely “Mading Surat,” letter writing, “Content Creator Challenge,” “Poster Challenge,” and “Buku Mini Cita-Citaku.” The results show an increase in the average scores for autonomy satisfaction, relatedness satisfaction, and competence satisfaction after the implementation of the intervention. In addition, several aspects of frustration decreased among some participants, although changes in each participant showed different dynamics and did not always occur linearly. The conclusion of the study affirms that an SDT-based intervention program can be a relevant approach to help support the fulfillment of adolescents’ basic psychological needs in an orphanage environment. The implications of this study provide practical contributions for caregivers, educators, and social institutions in designing intervention activities that support adolescents’ autonomy, competence, and social relatedness in a more targeted manner.
Samuel Fredericko Sherloe, Rasyatul Aini, Hanifatul Aisyah, Astri Anggraini Hapsara Wibowo

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10401

Self-control ability is an important aspect of child development because it plays a role in regulating emotions, behavior, and decision-making. Based on observations and interviews at the Muhammadiyah PCM Kembangan Children’s Orphanage, children still experienced difficulties in controlling their behavior, understanding the consequences of their actions, and making appropriate decisions. Children’s discipline also tended to depend on external supervision, so an intervention program is needed to improve self-control ability independently. This study aims to improve children’s self-control ability through a series of intervention activities designed based on James R. Averill’s self-control theory, which includes the aspects of behavioral control, cognitive control, and decisional control. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 12 children aged 8–13 years who were under the care of the Muhammadiyah PCM Kembangan Children’s Orphanage. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and a self-control questionnaire adapted from Nurfaujiyanti (2010). The intervention was implemented through five programs, namely “Misi Penjaga Ketenangan,” “Teater Cermin Ajaib,” “Buku Petualangan,” “Estafet Kuas Ajaib,” and “Misi Detektif Seribu Wajah.” The results showed a significant improvement in children’s self-control ability after participating in the intervention, with the mean total score increasing from 41.67 in the pre-test to 49.25 in the post-test. The statistical test results showed a significance value for the total score of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the intervention was effective in improving behavioral control, cognitive control, and decisional control among children in the orphanage. The conclusion of the study affirms that structured activity-based psychological intervention can be a relevant approach to strengthening children’s self-control ability. The implications of this study provide practical contributions for caregivers, educators, and social institutions in designing guidance programs that support children’s independence, discipline, and decision-making in a more adaptive manner.
Putri D. https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10445

Local traditions play an important role in early childhood education because they can shape children’s social values, cultural identity, and learning experiences. However, studies that specifically discuss the impact of the Ampiran tradition on early childhood learning participation on effective learning days remain limited. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Ampiran tradition on early childhood learning participation on effective learning days in Kejajar Subdistrict, Wonosobo. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a field research design, involving three early childhood education institutions, namely PAUD Al-Amin, PAUD Mutiara Hati, and TK NU Kejajar, which were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the Ampiran tradition has a dual impact. On the one hand, this tradition fosters social values such as mutual cooperation, empathy, and the strengthening of cultural identity. On the other hand, when its implementation takes place on or close to effective learning days, this tradition affects the decline in children’s attendance, concentration, and learning participation due to fatigue from activities that continue until nighttime. These findings contribute to the development of Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory in the context of local culture-based early childhood education in Indonesia. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of balancing cultural preservation and the fulfillment of early childhood learning rights. The implications of this study provide theoretical contributions to the development of the literature on culture-based early childhood education as well as practical contributions for teachers, parents, and policymakers in integrating local traditions into the Kurikulum Merdeka framework in a more adaptive and child-friendly manner.
Akhirina Putri Damayanti, Bambang Sugiyanto, Robingun Suyud El Syam

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10446

The philosophical-theological foundation is the primary basis for designing and developing the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum because it determines the direction, values, and objectives of Islamic education. This study aims to examine the philosophical-theological foundation of the PAI curriculum by analyzing the relationship among the ontological, epistemological, and axiological aspects of Islamic education; the integration of revelation and reason; the Islamization of knowledge; scientific integration; and its implementation in contemporary Islamic education. This study used a qualitative approach with a library research design through the review and analysis of various literature sources, such as books, journals, and relevant scientific articles. The results show that the philosophical-theological foundation serves as an important foundation in developing a PAI curriculum oriented toward the balanced formation of students in intellectual, spiritual, moral, and social aspects. The integration of ontological, epistemological, and axiological aspects in the PAI curriculum affirms that Islamic education focuses not only on the transfer of religious knowledge but also on the formation of ways of thinking, attitudes, values, and actions aligned with Islamic principles. In addition, the concepts of integrating revelation and reason, the Islamization of knowledge, and scientific integration play a role in overcoming the dichotomy between religious sciences and general sciences, making the PAI curriculum more relevant to the needs of contemporary Islamic education. The conclusion of this study affirms that the philosophical-theological foundation has a strategic role in developing a PAI curriculum that is integrative, transformative, and responsive to the challenges of the times. The contribution of this study lies in strengthening the conceptual framework for developing a PAI curriculum based on philosophical-theological values in the context of contemporary Islamic education.
Syahida Ajrina, Salamah Salamah

https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10454

Previous research on moral education and mental health has been dominated by quantitative approaches, so it has not fully described the process of internalizing moral values and students’ subjective experiences in depth. This study aims to describe students’ mental health conditions, analyze the role of moral education in fostering mental health, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at MA Takhassus Al-Qur’an 1 Mojotengah Wonosobo. This study used a qualitative approach with a field research design, involving the principal, the akidah akhlak teacher, the guidance and counseling teacher, and Grade XI students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results showed that most students had fairly good mental health conditions, characterized by adaptability, positive social relationships, and active involvement in madrasah activities, although some students still experienced anxiety, lack of self-confidence, and difficulty controlling their emotions. Moral education played an important role through classroom learning, teacher role modeling, and religious habituation in helping students control their emotions, build inner calm, and strengthen character. Supporting factors in the implementation of moral education included the pesantren environment, rural community culture, a culture of tawaduk, and a religious school environment, whereas inhibiting factors included a lack of family support, the influence of negative peer environments, and the absence of a specific mental health program. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of integrating moral education with structured mental health services so that students’ psychological needs can be addressed more optimally. These findings contribute to strengthening the literature on moral education and mental health and provide practical implications for madrasahs in designing character development programs integrated with professional psychological support.
Nala Fury Ashlah, Robingun Suyud El Syam, Muhtar Sofwan Hidayat

The increasing number of environmental crime cases poses a serious challenge to achieving sustainable development in Indonesia, particularly when environmental law enforcement is confronted with the dominance of economic interests. Although environmental law enforcement has been widely studied, discussions on the dilemma between economic interests and ecological justice in the law enforcement process remain limited. This study aims to analyze the implementation of law enforcement against environmental crimes and identify obstacles arising from the dominance of economic interests. This study used a qualitative approach with a normative juridical research design through an analysis of legislation, legal literature, and relevant case studies. The results show that environmental law enforcement still faces various obstacles, including conflicts of interest, weak application of sanctions, and low political commitment to environmental protection. These findings affirm that a development orientation that overly emphasizes economic interests can weaken the principle of ecological justice and hinder the effectiveness of environmental protection. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening regulations, increasing the effectiveness of law enforcement, and enhancing synergy among stakeholders to achieve ecological justice and sustainable development. The contribution of this study lies in strengthening an environmental law perspective that positions ecological justice as a basis for balancing economic interests and environmental protection.
M. https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10470

Although public speaking and self-confidence have been widely examined, limited studies have addressed integrated training modules designed specifically for first-year psychology students in Indonesia. This study aims to develop and describe a training module to enhance self-confidence and public speaking skills among first-year students, Class of 2025, at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Sumatera Utara. A qualitative descriptive design for module development was employed, involving 15 participants selected purposively based on the results of a Training Needs Analysis. Data were collected through focus group discussions, questionnaires, pre- and post-tests, behavioural observation checklists, and trainer evaluations, and were analyzed descriptively. The findings show that many participants experienced psychological barriers to verbal participation, including fear of making mistakes (66.7%), shame in front of peers (20%), and low self-confidence (46.7%). A structured one-day training module consisting of material sessions, ice-breaking activities, and a public speaking practice activity titled “Just One Minute” was developed to address these barriers. Post-training measures and behavioural observations indicated improvements in students’ willingness to speak and reductions in communication anxiety. The study concludes that experiential learning and interactive training methods can support the development of speaking courage and reduce classroom communication anxiety among first-year university students. This study contributes to psychological intervention and academic communication training by identifying common speaking barriers among early-adult students and offering a practical module for strengthening self-confidence and public speaking skills. The module may serve as a reference for psychology faculties and other educational institutions in designing structured communication-skill programmes, while further research is recommended to examine its long-term effects on academic participation and self-efficacy.
Cindy Anastasia, Alexandra Beatrix, Tiara Kusumadewi, Hana Safira, Khanza Nazala, Winda Wijaya, Carissa Aryella, Eka Danta Jaya Ginting
