Nevertheless, studies that specifically discuss the implementation of the Iqra’ method along with supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and teacher strategies in optimizing its application in the context of madrasah diniyah remain relatively limited. This study aims to describe the application of the Iqra’ method in Qur’an reading instruction at MDTA Ar-Rahman Jorong Koto Laweh, Tilatang Kamang Subdistrict, Agam Regency, and to analyze the factors that influence its success. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research informants included the head of the madrasah, teachers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and were then analyzed using thematic analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the Iqra’ method was applied gradually and individually with the support of learning media and intensive guidance from teachers, thereby improving students’ Qur’an reading ability. The success of implementation was influenced by teacher competence, the use of media, and parental involvement, whereas differences in students’ initial abilities and limited facilities were the main obstacles. The conclusion of this study affirms that the effectiveness of the Iqra’ method in Qur’an reading instruction depends on the integration of pedagogical strategies, learning media, teacher guidance, and family collaboration. The implications of this study provide a foundation for developing more adaptive Qur’an learning practices and serve as a reference for further research on innovations in technology-based and collaborative approaches to Qur’an learning methods.
Yosi Yosi, Arman Husni ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10691 Wed, 17 Jun 2026 08:40:50 +0800 Isu-Isu Kritis Historiografi di Era Digital: Analisis Narasi Sejarah pada Media Sosial https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10692
Digital historiography has received attention in various studies alongside the development of information technology and social media. However, studies that specifically discuss changes in historical authority, narrative legitimacy, the reproduction of collective memory, and the spread of historical disinformation on social media remain relatively limited. This study aims to analyze how social media shapes historical narratives and to identify various critical issues that emerge in historiographical practice in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative content analysis design combined with digital ethnography. The research data were obtained from 150 historical contents and 3,500 user comments on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and X platforms selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through digital documentation and non-participant observation, and were then analyzed using thematic analysis comprising coding, categorization, theme development, and data interpretation. The results show five main findings, namely the increasing democratization of historical narrative production, the dominance of popularity over academic authority as a source of legitimacy, the simplification and fragmentation of historical events, the reproduction of collective memory through digital interaction, and the emergence of disinformation and contestation of historical narratives in social media spaces. These findings also show that social media has transformed historiographical practice from a model centered on academic institutions toward a more participatory and open model. The conclusion of this study affirms the importance of historical literacy and digital literacy in addressing the dynamics of historical knowledge production in the social media era. The implications of the study include strengthening digital historiography theory, developing studies on public history and collective memory, and formulating historical education strategies that are more adaptive to technological transformation. This study also opens opportunities for further research on the influence of algorithms and artificial intelligence on the formation of digital historical narratives.
Yulia Citra, Etmi Hardi ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10692 Wed, 17 Jun 2026 08:54:34 +0800 Desain Pembelajaran Berbasis ICT untuk Pengembangan Spirituality-Based Learning dalam Meningkatkan Karakter dan Kesadaran Spiritual Peserta Didik https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10694
The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has driven a transformation in the learning paradigm toward a more flexible, interactive, and learner-centered system. However, the acceleration of educational digitalization also presents challenges in the form of a weakening of students’ spiritual, moral, and character dimensions due to the dominance of technology use that tends to be oriented toward cognitive aspects. This study aims to analyze the concept, implementation, and implications of ICT-based learning design in the development of Spirituality-Based Learning to improve students’ character and spiritual awareness. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method through the examination of journal articles, books, and scientific documents relevant to ICT-based learning, spirituality in education, Islamic education, and 21st-century competencies. The results of the study show that the integration of ICT with Spirituality-Based Learning can be realized through the components of meaningful learning, reflective learning, value internalization, spiritual connectedness, and ethical digital engagement. The implementation of this model contributes to strengthening the values of sincerity, trustworthiness, justice, and responsibility, while also improving digital literacy, critical thinking skills, religious character, and students’ spiritual awareness. The conclusion of this study affirms that ICT-based learning design integrated with spirituality is a strategic alternative for realizing Islamic education that is holistic, adaptive, and relevant to 21st-century needs. The implications of this study provide a conceptual basis for educators and Islamic educational institutions in designing digital learning that emphasizes not only cognitive competence but also the formation of students’ character and spiritual awareness.
Queen Qonita, Muhammad Miftah Gunawan, Riris Eka Setiani ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10694 Wed, 17 Jun 2026 10:11:13 +0800 Pengaruh Penggunaan Alat Permainan Edukatif “Taman Bunga Berhitung” terhadap Perkembangan Matematika Anak Usia Dini pada Kelompok B di TK Nurul Ikhlas Kota Bandung https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10709
Numerical operation ability is an important aspect of early childhood numeracy development, but observations at TK Nurul Ikhlas Kota Bandung showed that some children aged 5–6 years still had difficulty understanding simple addition and subtraction concepts because learning had not optimally involved concrete media. This study aimed to determine the effect of using the Educational Play Equipment (APE) “Berhitung di Taman Bunga” on the numerical operation ability of children aged 5–6 years. This study used a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of 15 children from Group B of TK Nurul Ikhlas, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through observation and analyzed using a normality test and a Paired Sample t-Test with the assistance of SPSS 25.0. The results showed that the mean score of numerical operation ability increased from 15.00 in the pretest to 21.67 in the posttest, with an improvement percentage of 44.47%. The Paired Sample t-Test results showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant effect of using the APE “Berhitung di Taman Bunga” on children’s numerical operation ability. Although indie game development continues to grow, studies that specifically address high-fidelity UI design for 2D top-down role-playing game (RPG) prototypes remain limited. This study aimed to design and evaluate a high-fidelity UI prototype for a 2D top-down RPG game titled Dungeon Realm. This study employed a design and development approach guided by the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) methodology, which includes the initiation, preproduction, production, and testing phases. The design process began with capturing environment screenshots from Godot Engine as contextual background references, followed by the development of a high-fidelity prototype using Figma. The resulting prototype consisted of six UI screens, namely Main Menu, In-Game HUD, Pause Menu, Game Over, Settings, and How to Play. The evaluation was conducted through black box testing to verify the functional navigation flow across all interface screens, involving the researcher and two additional testers. The results showed that all defined navigation scenarios functioned according to the predetermined expected outputs, thereby confirming the structural integrity of the prototype design. These findings contribute to the application of user-centered design principles in game UI development and expand understanding of high-fidelity prototyping in indie RPG projects. This study concludes that systematic UI prototype design using the GDLC methodology can produce a coherent, navigable game interface with a validated design foundation before full implementation in Godot Engine.
Ainan Fajar Fatcha, Agus Aan Jiwa Permana, Ketut Agus Seputra ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10723 Fri, 19 Jun 2026 19:39:58 +0800 Analisis Kebutuhan Pengembangan Multimedia Interaktif BANTAR pada Pembelajaran Bangun Datar Siswa Sekolah Dasar https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10667
Mathematics learning on plane figure material in elementary schools still faces challenges in helping students understand abstract concepts, particularly because of the limitations of learning media that still depend on surrounding objects and lecture methods. This condition has the potential to hinder children’s social and emotional development, making an intervention appropriate to the developmental characteristics of elementary school age necessary. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing Token Economy in reducing aggressive behavior among children aged 6–10 years at Foundation X. The intervention was carried out through a positive reinforcement-based Token Economy method using a system of giving tokens in the form of stars, combined with educational activities, group games, and simple rewards as reinforcers of positive behavior. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and pre-test and post-test measurements using the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) on the Conduct Problems dimension among six children aged 6–10 years. The results of the program implementation showed a decrease in Conduct Problems scores in five of the six participants, while one participant showed no change because the score had been within the normal range since the initial measurement. The mean Conduct Problems score decreased from 1.67 in the pre-test to 0 in the post-test. The conclusion of the study affirms that the implementation of Token Economy is effective in reducing aggressive behavior and increasing positive behavior among elementary school-aged children. The implications of this study indicate that Token Economy can serve as a simple, practical, and applicable alternative intervention in guiding children’s behavior within the foundation environment.
Amalia Mahrunnisa, Aurielle Azzahra, Chaeranny Ratna Syafira Aslam, Agustina Agustina ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10665 Thu, 25 Jun 2026 17:15:46 +0800 Pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif Materi Keragaman Budaya di Indonesia Kelas IV SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10852
The limited use of interactive learning multimedia on Indonesian Cultural Diversity material, particularly traditional clothing and traditional houses of provinces in Indonesia, indicates the need for media that can provide visualization, interactivity, and learning experiences that are easier for elementary school students to understand. This study aims to explore and analyze the construction of students’ intellectual intelligence from the perspective of Islamic psychology through the experience of actualizing the potential of reason. This study used a qualitative approach with an interpretative phenomenological design, involving 15 student participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, documentation, and reflective notes, and were then analyzed using phenomenological thematic analysis through the stages of coding, categorization, and theme interpretation. The findings show that intellectual intelligence from the perspective of Islamic psychology is constructed through five main dimensions, namely reason as a divine trust, the integration of rational thinking and spiritual awareness, self-reflection as a mechanism for intellectual strengthening, the actualization of intelligence through ethical behavior, and the influence of obstacles in optimizing the potential of reason. These findings contribute to the development of the concept of Islamic psychology by presenting a holistic model of intellectual intelligence and expanding understanding of the relationship among cognitive, spiritual, and moral dimensions in education. Nevertheless, studies that integrate contemporary motivation theories to explain the dynamics of learning motivation in the context of digital learning remain limited. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of students’ learning motivation in the digital era through the perspective of educational psychology by examining the influence of digital learning environments, the interrelationship among motivational dimensions, and the need for adaptive learning strategies. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings show that learning motivation is influenced by the interaction among individual psychological factors, the characteristics of digital technology, and support from the social environment. Digital learning environments can increase learning flexibility and independence, but they also create distractions that may reduce motivation. In addition, autonomy, a sense of competence, social support, learning goal orientation, and self-regulation interact with one another in shaping students’ motivation. These findings affirm the importance of adaptive, interactive, and student-centered learning strategies to maintain learning motivation and engagement in digital learning. The conclusion of this study indicates that students’ learning motivation in the digital era is a multidimensional construct influenced simultaneously by psychological, technological, and social aspects. The implications of this study provide a theoretical contribution to the development of educational psychology studies through the integration of contemporary motivation theories, as well as a practical reference for educators and educational institutions in designing digital learning that is responsive to students’ needs.
Rika Sri Wahyuni, Alfi Rahmi ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11052 Mon, 06 Jul 2026 09:05:24 +0800 Pembentukan Bakat dan Minat Peserta Didik melalui Lingkungan Keluarga: Studi Kasus dalam Perspektif Psikologi Perkembangan https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11053
The formation of students’ talents and interests through the family environment has received attention in various studies in developmental psychology and education; however, studies that specifically explore the mechanisms through which both are formed through family interaction from the perspective of developmental psychology remain limited. This study aims to explore the role of the family environment in shaping students’ talents and interests and to identify the factors that support this developmental process. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 15 informants consisting of students, parents, and teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings show that family emotional support, parenting patterns that provide space for exploration, open communication, the provision of learning facilities, and collaboration between families and schools are the main factors supporting the development of students’ talents and interests. These findings also indicate that the quality of interaction within the family has a greater influence than material support alone in encouraging the actualization of children’s potential. The conclusion of this study affirms that the family environment plays a strategic role in shaping students’ talents and interests through emotional support, effective communication, and synergy with schools. The implications of this study provide a theoretical contribution to the development of studies in developmental psychology, as well as a practical reference for parents, teachers, and educational institutions in designing parenting patterns and collaborative programs that optimally support students’ development. Agam https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11054
The learning of kitab kuning is a distinctive feature of pesantren education that plays an important role in shaping students’ scholarly competence and understanding of Islamic jurisprudence. Although methods for learning kitab kuning have been widely studied, research that specifically discusses the learning of Fathul Mu’in and the obstacles to its implementation at Pondok Pesantren Asy-Syarif, Tilatang Kamang Subdistrict, Agam Regency, remains limited. This study aims to describe the learning methods of Fathul Mu’in and to identify the obstacles encountered in their implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving the head of the Islamic boarding school, the ustaz teaching Fathul Mu’in, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the learning of Fathul Mu’in is implemented through the sorogan, bandongan, and halaqah methods, which are applied integratively according to the characteristics of the material and the students’ abilities. The main obstacles identified include limited mastery of nahwu and sharaf, inadequate mastery of Arabic vocabulary, low participation among some students, limited learning time, and students’ fatigue due to the density of learning activities. The conclusion of this study affirms that the effectiveness of learning Fathul Mu’in strongly depends on the application of varied, contextual methods that are aligned with students’ abilities. This study aims to describe the moral values and representation of gender roles in the folklore “Asal Usul Danau Lipan”. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The research data were sourced from the story text in the book Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Kutai by Anwar Soetoen et al. The data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques and then analyzed through the stages of data identification, classification, and description. The results showed that the folklore “Asal Usul Danau Lipan” contains moral values that encompass human relationships with oneself, fellow human beings, and God. In addition, the gender representation in the story shows male dominance, while women are portrayed as weak and dependent figures. Thus, this folklore not only contains moral values that are relevant to life but also reflects the gender constructions that develop in society. These findings imply the importance of a critical reading of folklore as material for literary studies, character education, and social reflection on gender relations.
Bella Setyawati, Nurdin Nurdin ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/10646 Mon, 06 Jul 2026 16:29:34 +0800 Kolaborasi Pengawasan Penggunaan Tenaga Kerja Asing di Sumatera Barat (Studi Kasus: Tenaga Kerja Asing di Kabupaten Pasaman Barat) https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11070
The supervision of the use of foreign workers (TKA) is an important instrument to ensure compliance with labor and immigration regulations. This issue emerged when 13 foreign workers from China were found allegedly working illegally at PT Gamindra Mitra Kusuma (GMK), West Pasaman Regency, thereby indicating that weaknesses remain in supervision, particularly in interagency coordination. This study aims to analyze collaborative supervision of the use of foreign workers in West Sumatra, identify challenges in supervising illegal foreign workers, and describe the efforts made to address these problems. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews, documentation, and literature study, and were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that collaborative supervision of foreign workers in West Sumatra has been implemented through the Foreign Nationals Monitoring Team (TIMPORA), involving the Manpower and Transmigration Office of West Sumatra Province, the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for Labor Supervision Region II, the Agam Class I Non-TPI Immigration Office, and other relevant agencies. This collaboration is realized through coordination, information exchange, document examination, field supervision, and joint operations in accordance with the duties and authority of each agency. Based on Sondang P. Siagian’s theory of the supervision process, the stages of establishing work standards, measuring work results, and taking corrective action have been implemented, but the effectiveness of supervision has not been optimal because there are still differences in perspectives between labor and immigration supervision, miscommunication within TIMPORA, a limited number of supervisors, the broad scope of the supervision area, limited budget and operational facilities, and a lack of corporate transparency in reporting the use of foreign workers. The efforts undertaken include strengthening field supervision, providing guidance and socialization to companies, reinforcing coordination through TIMPORA, implementing integrated supervision, and optimizing the Aplikasi Pengawasan Orang Asing (APOA). The conclusion of this study affirms that the effectiveness of foreign worker supervision in West Sumatra is highly dependent on cross-agency collaboration that is coordinated, integrated, and supported by an adequate supervision information system. The implications of this study provide practical contributions to strengthening the governance of foreign worker supervision and preventing violations related to the illegal use of foreign workers at the regional level.
Cindy Putri Khumairoh, Lince Magriasti ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11070 Tue, 07 Jul 2026 06:45:16 +0800 Pola Komunikasi Publik Puskesmas Andalas dalam Meningkatkan Partisipasi Masyarakat pada Penggunaan Program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11072
Although public communication strategies in social health insurance programs have received attention in various studies, research specifically discussing the communication patterns of first-level health facilities in encouraging community participation in the National Health Insurance Program (JKN) remains limited. This study aims to describe the public communication patterns implemented by Puskesmas Andalas in increasing community participation in the JKN Program and to identify obstacles and solutions in conveying information about the program. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving health center staff, BPJS Kesehatan representatives, and community members who were users and non-users of JKN. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Puskesmas Andalas implemented integrated public communication patterns through primary face-to-face communication, secondary communication through print and digital media, group communication through health education activities, and two-way communication that provides space for the community to ask questions and submit complaints. These communication patterns contributed to an increase in new participant registration, membership reactivation, and utilization of the free BPJS program. However, their implementation still faced internal obstacles, including weak information coordination with BPJS Kesehatan and the absence of dedicated BPJS officers at the health center, as well as external obstacles, including low public understanding of JKN regulations, economic limitations related to family-based contribution obligations, and the digital divide in the use of social media. The conclusion of this study affirms that continuous, multichannel, and trust-based public communication is an important factor in expanding health coverage at the primary care level. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, involving 12 undergraduate students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were then analyzed using Colaizzi’s phenomenological analysis technique. The results show four main themes, namely AI as a learning facilitator, the importance of humanistic interaction in learning, dilemmas in the use of AI in academic activities, and students’ expectations regarding the integration of AI and humanistic learning. The findings show that AI provides easier access to information, increases learning efficiency, and supports understanding of course material. However, students still view interaction with lecturers, empathy, dialogue, and reflection as essential elements that cannot be replaced by technology. The use of AI also raises challenges in the form of potential dependence, a decline in critical thinking skills, and issues of academic ethics. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that AI needs to be positioned as a supporting instrument for learning, while the humanistic approach remains the foundation for creating meaningful learning experiences. This study aims to analyze parking characteristics, parking space demand and availability, and formulate appropriate parking management for the research area. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with field survey techniques and direct observation. Data collection was conducted over three days, namely 14–16 April 2026, from 06:00 to 18:00 Western Indonesia Time, with data including the number of vehicles entering and leaving, parking duration, parking accumulation, parking volume, parking capacity, and the existing condition of parking facilities. The results show that the GPIP area has a high level of parking utilization, with a combined motorcycle parking index of 1.40 on Tuesday, 1.77 on Wednesday, and 1.34 on Thursday. The highest car parking index in the GSPs area reached 1.14. The highest parking demand occurred in the UNP Mart area, at 125 parking space units (SRP), while the available parking capacity in the GPIP area was 340 SRP and in the GSPs area was 21 SRP. The analysis results show that the main parking problem is caused by the uneven distribution of parking space use. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that optimizing parking facilities requires parking management based on the redistribution of vehicles to areas that still have available capacity. The practical implications of this study include the need for parking line arrangement, vehicle circulation management, signage installation, and improved parking supervision so that the utilization of parking facilities in the campus area can operate more effectively.
Dita Rora Efendi, Rizky Indra Utama, Oktaviani Oktaviani, Muhammad Ihsan ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11135 Thu, 09 Jul 2026 16:55:39 +0800 Pengaruh Kecerdasan Spiritual terhadap Krisis Makna Peserta Didik SMP pada Era Digital di Kota Payakumbuh https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11091
Although the crisis of meaning among students has received increasing attention alongside developments in the digital era, studies that specifically analyze the effect of spiritual intelligence on the crisis of meaning among junior high school students from the perspective of Islamic Religious Education remain limited. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the MBG Program at SDN 18 Air Tawar Selatan, Padang Utara Subdistrict, Padang City, using Merilee S. Grindle’s Policy Implementation Model as the main theory and Michael Lipsky’s Street-Level Bureaucracy theory as a micro-level analytical lens. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving 17 informants representing the government, school, food provider, parents, and students. The results revealed a significant gap between the normative policy design and operational realities. In the content of policy dimension, the problems included a mismatch between the menu and local preferences that systematically generated food waste, centralized decision-making, and limited implementation capacity. In the context of implementation dimension, power asymmetries among actors and vertically centralized institutional characteristics were identified. These problems were rooted in the failure of the feedback mechanism, or a broken feedback loop, whereby the field-level knowledge held by street-level bureaucrats was unable to drive improvements in policy design at the central level. This study concludes that the effective implementation of the MBG Program requires strengthened implementation capacity, improved logistics infrastructure, and limited decentralization in adapting menus to local conditions. These findings contribute to the development of public policy implementation studies by emphasizing the importance of feedback mechanisms and the involvement of street-level actors in improving nationwide programs.
Melisa Diah, Zikri Alhadi ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11186 Sun, 12 Jul 2026 19:12:39 +0800 Implementasi Kebijakan Kota Layak Anak (KLA) Klaster Perlindungan Khusus dalam Pencegahan Kekerasan Anak di Kota Padang https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11190
Violence against children remains a serious problem in the implementation of the Child-Friendly City (KLA) initiative, particularly within the Special Protection Cluster. The results showed that policy communication had been conducted through school-based dissemination activities and outreach by Community-Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM) cadres, but its coverage remained uneven. The availability of resources was still limited, particularly in terms of personnel and funding, whereas the disposition dimension indicated a high level of commitment among field-level implementers. In the bureaucratic structure dimension, interagency coordination through the KLA Task Force had been established, but its technical authority remained limited. Uneven policy communication, limited implementation resources, low public awareness, and a weak program evaluation system were the main factors hindering the effectiveness of efforts to prevent violence against children. This study concludes that the implementation of the KLA Policy for the Special Protection Cluster in Padang City has not yet been optimal. The study employed the historical method, comprising topic selection, heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Primary sources included archives from the Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia, presidential decrees, organizing committee documents, contemporary newspapers and magazines, and the official report of the Fourth Asian Games, supported by relevant secondary literature. The findings showed that R. Maladi’s experience as an athlete, Chair of the Persatuan Sepak Bola Seluruh Indonesia, broadcaster, and government official shaped his capacity to coordinate the organization of the Fourth Asian Games. His administrative role encompassed Indonesia’s bid to host the Games, the refinement of the organizational structure of the Dewan Asian Games Indonesia, interinstitutional communication, press relations, and coordination with the Asian Games Federation. Meanwhile, his technical role included infrastructure development, athlete development, the provision of service facilities, the conduct of dress rehearsals, and event coordination. The Fourth Asian Games, held from August 24 to September 4, 1962, demonstrated Indonesia’s capability as the host through orderly ceremonies, systematic scheduling, and Indonesia’s success in ranking second in the medal standings. This success strengthened Indonesia’s international image and supported Soekarno’s Lighthouse Politics, although the issues involving Taiwan and Israel resulted in diplomatic consequences. This study aimed to analyse the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of puzzle-based learning media incorporating Kediri local wisdom in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Mrican 2 on the topic of comparing types of triangles. This study employed a quantitative approach with a research and development (Research and Development) design using the 4D model, which comprises the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The research participants consisted of material expert validators, media experts, a fifth-grade teacher, and fifth-grade students at SDN Mrican 2. Data were collected through interviews, validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest assessments. The data were analysed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and N-Gain calculations. The results showed that the developed media achieved a very high level of validity, with validation percentages of 96% from the material experts and 86% from the media experts. The practicality of the media was also classified as very high, based on a teacher response of 96% and a student response of 92%. The effectiveness of the media based on the N-Gain test reached 57.04% in the limited trial and 66.39% in the large-scale trial, both of which were classified as moderate. These findings indicate that puzzle-based learning media incorporating Kediri local wisdom can improve students’ learning outcomes on the topic of comparing types of triangles. Thus, the developed media were declared valid, practical, and moderately effective for use in elementary school mathematics instruction. This study provides a practical contribution for teachers by providing innovative, contextual, and engaging learning media while strengthening the development of learning media based on local wisdom. Further studies may develop similar media for other mathematics topics or different levels of education.
Yuana Ayu Azhari, Aan Nurfahrudianto, Jatmiko ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11267 Thu, 16 Jul 2026 06:46:59 +0800 Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Pelaksanaan Program Peremajaan Sawit Rakyat (PSR) pada Kelompok Tani Sukses Bersama di Nagari Bawan Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11296
The low productivity of smallholder oil palm plantations is influenced by trees that have exceeded their productive age, the use of non-improved seeds, and farmers’ limited capital and technical knowledge. As an effort to address these problems, the government implemented the Smallholder Oil Palm Replanting (PSR) Program through the replanting of ageing trees, supported by grant funding and assistance. The success of this program is strongly influenced by community participation at every stage of its implementation. However, the participation of members of the Sukses Bersama Farmer Group in Nagari Bawan has not been optimal because of economic and administrative constraints and limited technical understanding. This study aimed to analyse the forms of community participation and identify the factors that encouraged and hindered participation in the implementation of the PSR Program. The study employed a qualitative approach using a field research method. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of the head of the farmer group, farmer group members, and nagari officials. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and were subsequently analysed inductively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that community participation occurred at the planning, implementation, outcome utilization, and evaluation stages, but community involvement in decision-making remained low. Socialization played an important role in improving farmers’ understanding, although its implementation was not evenly distributed. Factors encouraging participation included trust in the farmer group, collaborative networks, and expectations of increased plantation yields. Meanwhile, factors hindering participation included economic constraints during the immature phase of the replanted trees, administrative obstacles, and concerns regarding income sustainability. This study confirms that improving the success of the PSR Program requires strengthened socialization, farmer group institutions, and continuous administrative assistance. These findings provide practical contributions for the nagari government, farmer groups, and relevant stakeholders in designing strategies to increase community participation in the implementation of smallholder plantation replanting programs.
Desi Susanti, M.Fachri Adnan ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11296 Thu, 16 Jul 2026 06:59:45 +0800 Peran Surat Kabar Kampus Ganto sebagai Media Informasi pada Pemilu BEM UNP Tahun 2026 https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11297
Although the press holds an important position in the democratic order and has been widely studied, research specifically examining the role of the student press in providing political information within higher education institutions remains limited. This study aimed to analyse the role of Surat Kabar Kampus (SKK) Ganto as a Student Press Organization (LPM) and an information medium in the Student Executive Board General Election (Pemilu BEM) at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), as well as to identify the internal and external constraints encountered in performing this role. This study employed a qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven categories of informants selected using purposive sampling combined with snowball sampling. The results showed that the role of SKK Ganto as an information medium in the Pemilu BEM had not been optimal. Of the three press functions examined, the information and educational functions had not been fully implemented, whereas the social control function had begun to be performed; however, SKK Ganto still tended to be less proactive in reporting issues related to the Pemilu BEM. The performance of this role also faced significant challenges originating from both within the organization and the external environment. These findings confirm that SKK Ganto needs to strengthen the implementation of its information, educational, and social control functions and conduct more comprehensive performance evaluations and organizational development. This study provides a practical contribution to strengthening the role of the student press as a medium of political information within the university environment and expands research on the student press, student organizations, and the dynamics of politics and democracy in higher education institutions.
Winni Ahatri, Rahmadhona Fitri Helmi ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11297 Thu, 16 Jul 2026 07:20:08 +0800 Peran Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Padang dalam Meningkatkan Partisipasi Masyarakat pada Pelaksanaan Program Kampung Iklim https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11298
Community participation is a determining factor in the success of climate change policies at the local level, but studies specifically examining the role of regional environmental agencies in building and sustaining such participation remain limited. This study aimed to analyse the role of the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kota Padang in increasing community participation in the implementation of the Program Kampung Iklim (ProKlim), identify the constraints encountered, and describe the measures taken to address them. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of DLH employees responsible for ProKlim, subdistrict or urban village officials, and administrators of community groups implementing ProKlim. A total of nine informants were drawn from four community groups with different levels of participation. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation and were subsequently analysed using an interactive model comprising data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was examined through source triangulation. The results showed that the DLH had performed its roles as a facilitator, dynamizer, and catalyst through location identification, socialization, guidance, facility provision, and motivation. However, the implementation of these roles was uneven because some groups received intensive guidance and support, whereas others were merely registered without further follow-up. The main constraints included low levels of community digital literacy, the substantial administrative burden associated with ProKlim assessment, and low environmental awareness in several locations. The DLH addressed these constraints through direct assistance with reporting, gradual data collection, continuous guidance, and the involvement of local figures and active groups as agents of change. This study confirms that equitable guidance, strengthened administrative assistance, and the involvement of local actors are necessary to increase community participation in the implementation of ProKlim. These findings provide a theoretical contribution to the development of studies on community-based environmental governance as well as practical implications for the DLH Kota Padang and other regional environmental agencies in designing more equitable and sustainable guidance mechanisms. Future research may examine the effectiveness of ProKlim in achieving ecological, social, and economic outcomes across a broader geographical area.
Arby Rakhmatullah, Jumiati ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/11298 Thu, 16 Jul 2026 07:29:24 +0800
