This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Wayang Kertas (Paper Puppets) as an instructional medium to improve students’ comprehension of historical content in Grade V at MI Nurul Falah Depok. The method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a collaborative reflective design over two cycles, involving 20 purposively selected students. Data were collected through observations of teacher and student activities, documentation of the learning process, and post-tests of student learning outcomes, which were analyzed using both quantitative descriptive and qualitative methods. The results indicate a significant improvement in learning mastery, from 11 students meeting the standard in Cycle I to all students achieving mastery in Cycle II. Teacher activity increased from 94% to 100%, while student activity rose from 89% to 100%. These findings support constructivist and contextual learning theories, emphasizing the importance of meaningful learning experiences rooted in students’ cultural backgrounds. The study concludes that Wayang Kertas is an effective medium for enhancing conceptual understanding of history and student engagement in Social Studies learning. Theoretically, this research contributes to the literature on integrating local wisdom into education, while practically, it offers recommendations for teachers to utilize culturally rooted media to create more active and meaningful learning environments. Furthermore, this study opens avenues for further exploration on the long-term impact of local wisdom-based learning on historical concept retention and character development in students.
Khaidir Fadil, Rajab Arakian, Salati Asmahasanah ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7768 Wed, 29 Oct 2025 09:14:57 +0800 Penerapan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Quizizz dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar pada Pembelajaran IPAS Kelas V MI Nurul Hidayah Kabupaten Bogor https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7769
The limited number of studies on the use of interactive technology-based learning media—particularly Quizizz—in Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) instruction at madrasah ibtidaiyah forms the background of this research, considering the low learning outcomes and limited student participation in conventional learning, which impact the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Quizizz in improving student learning outcomes and engagement in Grade V IPAS at MI Nurul Hidayah, Bogor Regency. The method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over two cycles, encompassing the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection, with 25 purposively selected students as research subjects. Data were collected through observations of teacher and student activities, as well as learning outcome tests in each cycle, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed an increase in the average learning outcomes from 49% in the pre-cycle to 76% in Cycle I and 81% in Cycle II. Classical mastery learning improved from 20% in the pre-cycle to 64% and 72% in each subsequent cycle. Teacher activity increased from 83% to 87%, and student participation from 81% to 87%. These findings align with constructivist theory and the gamification approach, which emphasize active engagement and enjoyable learning experiences in improving academic performance. Quizizz proved to offer an interactive experience through digital quizzes and instant feedback, enhancing student motivation, focus, and retention of IPAS content. The main conclusion of this study is that Quizizz-based learning media is effective in improving both learning outcomes and student participation. Theoretically, this research enriches the literature on digital technology integration in 21st-century education, while practically, it provides recommendations for teachers to utilize interactive media to create engaging, meaningful, and student-responsive learning environments. This study also opens pathways for future research comparing the effectiveness of various digital learning platforms on student motivation and long-term retention.
Fahmi Ardiansyah, Salati Asmahasanah, Falizar Rivani ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7769 Wed, 29 Oct 2025 09:23:57 +0800 Analisis Kesiapan Implementasi Kebijakan Tes Kemampuan Akademik (TKA) 2025 oleh Kemendikbud https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7771
Indonesia’s educational assessment reform has entered a new phase with the introduction of the 2025 Tes Kemampuan Akademik (TKA), in response to the abolition of the National Examination (UN) and the redefined function of the National Assessment (AN), which now focuses on system-level evaluation rather than individual performance. This study aims to analyze the readiness level for implementing the TKA 2025 policy prior to its nationwide rollout. A qualitative method was employed using a descriptive policy analysis design, guided by George C. Edward III’s policy implementation framework, which comprises four key variables: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Data were drawn from secondary sources, including regulatory documents, official socialization materials, and national media coverage, and analyzed thematically. The findings reveal varying levels of readiness across the dimensions. The bureaucratic structure appears procedurally mature, owing to prior experience with the National Assessment. In terms of disposition, stakeholder enthusiasm—particularly among students—is high, as the TKA will serve as a university admissions tool. However, implementation readiness remains hindered by limited resources, notably the digital infrastructure gap between developed and underdeveloped regions. Furthermore, although policy communication has been relatively effective in disseminating information, a paradox emerges: the test is voluntary yet high-stakes, potentially generating anxiety among student participants. The study concludes that the successful implementation of TKA 2025 will largely depend on the state’s ability to bridge resource disparities and align policy communication in an inclusive and consistent manner.
Juriyah Juriyah, Tomulyo Fahrudin, Jalaludin Jalaludin ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7771 Wed, 29 Oct 2025 21:50:26 +0800 Dampak Media Sosial terhadap Kesehatan Mental Remaja: Analisis Temuan Terbaru tentang Kecemasan, Depresi, dan FOMO https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7775
The increasing use of social media among adolescents has had a significant impact on mental health, including symptoms of anxiety, depression, and Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). This phenomenon indicates that social media functions not only as a tool for communication and self-expression but also as a risk factor for adolescents’ psychological well-being. This study aims to analyze and synthesize recent findings on the relationship between social media use and adolescent mental health, as well as to identify intervention strategies through guidance and counseling approaches. A library research method was employed by reviewing primary sources such as academic journals and scholarly books, along with relevant secondary literature. The findings reveal that excessive use of social media is correlated with increased anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and FOMO. Key contributing factors include cyberbullying, social comparison, and the pressure to construct a perfect online persona. Guidance and counseling interventions can address these issues through preventive, curative, and developmental services, focusing on enhancing digital literacy, emotional regulation, and psychological resilience. This study underscores the critical role of guidance and counseling in helping adolescents achieve balance between their online and offline lives, thereby supporting more stable and adaptive mental health.
Marsal Yunas Muliadi Hasibuan, Sabarrudin Sabarrudin ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7775 Thu, 30 Oct 2025 12:10:25 +0800 Integrasi Nilai Lokal dan Agama: Kolaborasi Blater dan Ulama dalam Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Sampang https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7781
The limited research on the collaboration between traditional leaders (Blater) and religious scholars (ulama) in community development forms the background of this study, despite the significant role such cooperation plays in preserving local values and strengthening religious life, particularly in Sampang. This study aims to examine the forms, strategies, and challenges of integrating local and religious values through the collaboration between Blater and ulama in the context of community empowerment. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving 12 key informants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that the collaboration between Blater and ulama actively integrates local values into religious practices, reinforces social bonds among residents, and supports community empowerment initiatives. However, several challenges persist, such as resistance from certain community members and limited human and material resources. These findings align with theories of social capital and value integration, which emphasize the importance of synergy between traditional and religious institutions in community development. The main conclusion of this study is that the collaboration between Blater and ulama serves as a key factor in uniting local and religious values to strengthen social structures and accelerate community empowerment. The study offers theoretical contributions to the discourse on socio-religious cooperation, as well as practical recommendations for local governments and stakeholders to promote sustainable and context-sensitive collaborative programs. The aim of this study is to identify the types of conflict that occur in the process of founding TPQs, analyze conflict management tactics based on Rahim and Bonoma’s Dual Concern Model, and explore the role of Islamic ethical values in community mediation and reconciliation. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected from eight key informants—including TPQ administrators, religious leaders, community members, and village officials—selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participant observation, and reflective documentation, which were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal that all five conflict management strategies—integrating, obliging, compromising, dominating, and avoiding—were effectively internalized through Islamic values such as musyawarah (deliberation), islah (reconciliation), and ukhuwah (brotherhood). This process successfully transformed conflict into an opportunity for moral education and strengthened community social cohesion. The study expands Western conflict management frameworks into a transformational-spiritual model rooted in Qur’anic ethics, offering both theoretical contributions to conflict studies and practical guidance for managing Islamic educational institutions in an ethical, participatory, and values-based manner.
Asma'I Gunarsih, Siti Choiriyah ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7797 Fri, 31 Oct 2025 15:54:28 +0800 Pendidikan Tinggi Perempuan Desa Plakpak Pegantenan Pamekasan dalam Bayang-Bayang Patriarki https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/7815
This study is driven by the limited research on the struggles of rural women in pursuing higher education amidst the dominance of patriarchal culture, despite the significant impact of this phenomenon on improving human resource quality and promoting gender equality at the local level. The research aims to describe and analyze the motivation, family support, and social challenges faced by women in Plakpak Village, Pegantenan District, Pamekasan Regency in accessing higher education. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Ten participants were selected through purposive sampling, consisting of five women with higher education backgrounds, three parents, and two community leaders. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that women's motivation to pursue higher education is driven by spiritual and moral values, such as the desire to gain knowledge, elevate family dignity, and challenge gender stereotypes. Parental support, particularly from mothers and fathers, emerged as a key factor in overcoming the constraints of patriarchal norms. However, community responses remain mixed, with both support and resistance toward women's roles in higher education. The study concludes that higher education enhances women's social status but has not yet fully eliminated gender disparities due to the persistent strength of patriarchal values. The implications highlight the importance of synergy between education, family, and community in fostering gender equality in alignment with the principles of justice in Islam.
A. This study is motivated by the low level of analytical thinking ability among senior high school students, which contributes to their unpreparedness in determining career direction. The objective of this research is to analyze the level of analytical thinking ability among students at SMA Swasta Masehi Berastagi from the perspective of career guidance. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. The sample consisted of 18 students selected through total sampling. The research instrument utilized a Guttman Scale comprising 18 statements based on three dimensions of analytical ability as outlined by Anderson and Krathwohl: differentiating, organizing, and attributing. The analysis revealed that students' analytical thinking ability was at a moderate level (58%). The organizing aspect achieved the highest score (62%), followed by attributing (57%) and differentiating (55%). These findings suggest that while students demonstrate a fair ability to organize information, they struggle to distinguish relevant information and relate it to career decision-making factors. The study concludes that there is a need to strengthen analytical thinking skills through career guidance services that integrate reflective strategies and self-analysis activities. This study aims to describe and analyze the HRD management practices at MA Al-Azhar Peterongan Jombang and their implications for enhancing the quality of Islamic education institutions. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving the head of the madrasa, teachers, and administrative staff as key informants through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data were analyzed thematically through coding, categorization, and interpretation. The findings reveal that HRD management at MA Al-Azhar encompasses four core functions: planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision—all grounded in Islamic values. The HRD programs include professional training, spiritual development, and academic supervision, which positively influence teachers’ motivation, work ethic, and professionalism, although they have not yet fully translated into improved student academic performance. The study suggests that HRD contributes indirectly to institutional quality through the reinforcement of an Islamic work culture. These findings have implications for the development of a spiritually grounded conceptual model of HRD management as a policy reference for sustainable quality improvement in Islamic education, while also enriching the theoretical discourse on Islamic educational management.
Mohammad Arif Zainuddin Rofiqi, M. The study concludes that integrating digital formative assessment with problem-based learning models is essential for creating authentic, reflective, and inclusive learning experiences, and recommends that teachers and education practitioners adopt interactive digital platforms such as Wayground as formative assessment instruments that provide real-time feedback and adaptive scaffolding. The implications of this research include theoretical contributions in enriching the literature on digital formative assessment and PBL in primary schools, methodological contributions through the validation of Wayground as an alternative assessment instrument, and practical implications for teachers, schools, and policymakers in implementing innovative technology-based learning models, while opening further opportunities for exploration in other subjects, longitudinal studies, and comparative research across digital formative assessment platforms.
Yahya Muhammad Ra'uf, Panca Dewi Purwati ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8096 Sat, 29 Nov 2025 18:55:04 +0800 Inovasi Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan Model Sinektik dan Media Kartu Balon Ceria untuk Mengembangkan Keterampilan Menulis dan Penalaran Kritis Murid SD Kelas 1 https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8097
Writing is a fundamental skill that primary school students need to master, particularly during the initial literacy phase in Grade 1; however, in practice many students still face challenges because the instructional media used are not sufficiently engaging, relevant, or supportive of their learning needs. This study aims to describe the development process and use of the Kartu Balon Ceria (Cheerful Balloon Cards) medium as a means to improve beginning writing skills and critical reasoning among first-grade students. The medium was designed to promote cheerful, meaningful, and mindful learning through colourful balloon-shaped displays containing letters, words, and images closely related to students’ everyday experiences. The development stages included concept formulation, visual design, selection of colours and symbols that are easy to understand, and the design of game-based activities that support early literacy skills. In its implementation, students were engaged in activities such as tracing letters, arranging letters into words, sequencing words according to pictures, and writing their own names using correct spelling, thereby enhancing phonemic awareness, facilitating fine motor development, and fostering critical reasoning by linking symbols, visuals, and meaning. The findings show that the Kartu Balon Ceria medium increases student participation, strengthens early-stage writing ability, and stimulates critical reasoning through exploratory activities and interactive games. Accordingly, this medium can be regarded as an effective and feasible innovation for use in Indonesian language instruction in lower grades to support the reinforcement of early literacy in an enjoyable and meaningful way.
Putri Intan Nur Aini, Panca Dewi Purwanti ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8097 Sat, 29 Nov 2025 19:14:14 +0800 Penerapan Lembar Kombinasi Letter Kids Berbasis Project Upaya Peningkatan Sikap Kreatif dan Keterampilan Menulis Surat Sederhana https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8101
Personal letter writing skills and creative attitudes among primary school students remain suboptimal, as indicated by difficulties in generating ideas, organizing letter structure coherently, and selecting appropriate language, while predominantly teacher-centered instruction constrains exploration and creativity, resulting in monotonous writing products. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were obtained through broadcast document analysis, observation of the pesantren environment, and in-depth interviews with caregivers, ustaz, and santri, and subsequently analyzed interpretively. The findings reveal three main patterns of media representation: symbolic dramatization of authority, selective emphasis on hierarchical relations, and visual framing that reinforces feudal stereotypes of pesantren. Conversely, field data show that authority in the pesantren is ethical, contextual, and pedagogical in nature, embodied through the principles of adab, ta’dzīm, mutual respect, and dialogical learning processes, while also uncovering negative data or anomalies related to variations in disciplinary practices and differences in understanding among santri. The study concludes that media narratives tend to oversimplify pesantren traditions and fail to capture their complexity as dynamic Islamic educational institutions. The implications of these findings enrich scholarship on media representation and the culture of Islamic education, while encouraging journalists, policymakers, and pesantren leaders to foster more accurate, ethical, and constructive public communication about the pesantren world.
Lailatur Rohanita, Kemal Husen, Mochamad Rizqy Romadhon, Alfatun Nisak, Lailatul Mufarrohah, Ali Mukhammad Abrori ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8151 Tue, 02 Dec 2025 21:52:32 +0800 Strategi BAZNAS Kabupaten Bogor dalam Mengelola Zakat Produktif untuk Pemberdayaan UMKM Mustahik https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8147
The management of productive zakat is a strategic instrument for improving the welfare of mustahik through empowerment-based strengthening of microenterprises; however, the effectiveness of its implementation depends heavily on the strategies adopted by zakat management institutions in designing program planning, implementation, and supervision. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the strategies of BAZNAS Bogor Regency in managing productive zakat and to examine the extent to which these programs are able to empower mustahik MSMEs. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and program document analysis, and were then analyzed interpretively. The findings show that the productive zakat management strategy of BAZNAS Bogor Regency is implemented through needs-based planning grounded in the actual conditions of mustahik, organizational arrangements that involve local partnerships, the disbursement of business capital accompanied by mentoring, and continuous supervision through periodic monitoring. The results further indicate that the success of MSME empowerment is strongly influenced by the quality of the initial needs analysis, the relevance of the financing schemes, and the consistency of the mentoring received by mustahik. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the opportunities and challenges of PAI and to formulate an integrative PAI branding strategy through curriculum transformation, learning digitalization, and the strengthening of character and religious moderation. A qualitative approach was employed using a literature study design based on thematic synthesis, involving 30 scientific and policy documents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using document analysis sheets and examined through content analysis, comprising stages of reduction, categorization, interpretation, and source triangulation. The findings indicate that PAI has three main opportunities—character strengthening, learning digitalization, and religious moderation—that are aligned with the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045. However, several significant challenges were identified, including misalignment between the curriculum and twenty-first-century competencies, low levels of teachers’ digital literacy, disparities in educational quality across regions, and a weak public image regarding the effectiveness of PAI. Further analysis identifies six dominant branding strategies, namely curriculum revitalization, enhancement of teacher professionalism, character strengthening, optimization of digital technology, development of life skills, and mainstreaming of religious moderation. This study underscores the importance of repositioning PAI as a strategic pillar of national development and urges policymakers to design systemic, adaptive, and evidence-based branding strategies. This gap highlights the need for studies that examine teachers’ authentic experiences in understanding fitrah, akal, and qalb as pedagogical foundations, particularly in the context of Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu. This study aims to describe guru PAI’s understanding of human nature, identify their interpretations of students’ spiritual faculties, and explain how these understandings influence pedagogical strategies at SDIT Mutiara Hati. The research employs a qualitative approach with an interpretative phenomenological design, involving six teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using phenomenological stages that include horizontalization, clustering of essential themes, and interpretation of meaning. The findings show that all teachers view humans as beings endowed with fitrah, akal, and qalb, which are manifested in classroom practice through habituation of moral conduct, role modeling, reflective dialogue, and the facilitation of emotional–spiritual experiences. Students’ rational faculties are activated through value-based discussions and reflective questioning, the qalb is nurtured through gentle approaches and the presentation of exemplary stories, and fitrah is preserved through daily spiritual activities and the habituation of positive behaviors. These findings contribute theoretically to the development of a holistic Islamic education paradigm that integrates cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions. Practically, the study underscores the importance of strengthening teachers’ competence in spiritual guidance and the need for school support in building a learning culture oriented toward character and spiritual formation, while also opening avenues for further research on the development of instruments for assessing spiritual dimensions and more systematic learning models grounded in fitrah, akal, and qalb.
Laila Kamilatu Rahmi, Heru Yama Putra, Fadriati Fadriati, Ermis Suryana ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8236 Mon, 08 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Peran Regulasi Emosi Siswa dalam Menghadapi Depresi: Studi SMK X Jurusan Teknik Komputer Jaringan https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8239
Adolescent mental health problems, particularly among students in vocational high schools (SMK), are becoming increasingly prominent and constitute a critical concern in educational settings, including among students in the Computer and Network Engineering (Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan, TKJ) Department at SMK X who face academic pressure, limited emotional support, and the absence of counseling services, all of which contribute to the emergence of depressive symptoms. The problem arises from the phenomenon that some middle children tend to exhibit lower levels of independence due to feelings of being overlooked within family dynamics, which affects their decision-making abilities, emotional regulation, and personal autonomy. The study aims to determine the extent to which authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and neglectful parenting styles contribute to the development of autonomy among middle children in early adulthood. Using a correlational quantitative survey method, the research involved 459 participants aged 18–29 years who occupy the middle-child position, with measurements conducted using validated autonomy and parenting style scales. Data were analyzed using Spearman correlation and regression to examine the relationships and the magnitude of parenting style contributions to autonomy. The findings show a significant effect of parenting styles on autonomy (R² = 0.086), indicating that 8.6% of the variance in autonomy is explained by parenting styles. Specifically, the authoritative parenting style provides the largest contribution (R² = 0.031), followed by authoritarian (R² = 0.020) and permissive (R² = 0.010) styles, whereas the neglectful parenting style does not show a significant effect (p = 0.901). These findings underscore that positive parenting, particularly the authoritative style that integrates warmth and control, plays an important role in fostering the autonomy of middle children in early adulthood. The implications highlight the urgency of implementing balanced and supportive parenting practices to optimize the development of middle children’s independence within complex family dynamics.
Layda Rizkina Ramadhani, Rita Markus Idulfilastri ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8257 Wed, 10 Dec 2025 19:41:54 +0800 Model Teacher Centric Branding sebagai Strategi Membangun Reputasi Sekolah Islam Terpadu: Studi Kualitatif Deskriptif di Indonesia https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8261
Although educational branding has received attention in previous studies, research that specifically examines Teacher Centric Branding (TCB) as a teacher-based value approach to building the reputation of Sekolah Islam Terpadu (SIT) remains very limited. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the mechanisms through which institutional reputation is formed via the internalization of Islamic values, exemplary practice, and the support of teachers’ spiritual leadership as a living brand. The study employs a qualitative approach with an interpretative phenomenological design, involving 12 participants selected through purposive and snowball sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, and were analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The findings show that value internalization through structured spiritual development serves as the foundation of teachers’ professional identity; teacher role modeling in interactions with students and parents emerges as the most influential factor in shaping public perceptions; and spiritual leadership plays a crucial role in ensuring value consistency and institutional cultural stability. These findings expand theoretical understanding of internal branding, the human brand, and value-based leadership in the context of Islamic education, and affirm that SIT reputation is more strongly built through the quality of teachers’ values and behaviors than through external promotional strategies. The implications of this study include strengthening teacher development programs, enhancing communication competencies, and developing indicators of role modeling as an integral part of school branding strategies, while also opening opportunities for further research in other SIT contexts by involving more stakeholders and employing longitudinal designs to more comprehensively understand the dynamics of TCB formation.
Angga Ramadhan, Hamdi Abdul Karim ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8261 Wed, 10 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Efektivitas Media Visual Flipbook Peta dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa pada Materi IPS Kelas VI https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8267
Although visual learning media have been widely examined in social studies education, research that specifically investigates the integration of a digital flipbook format with spatial map visualization to address the spatial literacy crisis among elementary school students remains limited. This study aims to empirically test and analyze the effectiveness of the Media Visual Flipbook Peta in improving sixth-grade students’ understanding of IPS content, particularly related to spatial and geographical concepts. A quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest experimental design was employed, involving 22 sixth-grade students at SDN Citengah selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using pretest and posttest instruments and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, paired t-test, and Normalized Gain (N-Gain). The results show a statistically significant increase in understanding, as evidenced by the Wilcoxon test (p = 0.000) and paired t-test (p = 0.000), with the mean score increasing from 95.45 to 99.09 and the standard deviation decreasing from 8.18 to 4.33, indicating a more homogeneous distribution of understanding. The N-Gain value of 0.381 (38.1%) falls within the medium effectiveness category and is influenced by a ceiling effect, as 77.27% of students had already achieved the maximum score on the pretest. These findings contribute to the development of the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning (CTML) in the context of primary education and deepen understanding of the integration of interactive digital media to enhance spatial literacy. The study concludes that the Media Visual Flipbook Peta is important for improving conceptual understanding and equalizing students’ levels of understanding in spatial social studies content and recommends that educators and curriculum developers adopt multimodal and interactive digital media for teaching abstract concepts. The implications include theoretical contributions to the educational technology and multimedia instructional design literature, as well as practical implications for elementary schools, teachers, and policymakers to invest in the development of digital learning media and teacher capacity building in technology integration, while opening avenues for further exploration of long-term retention, affective and psychomotor dimensions, and replication in student populations with more diverse initial ability levels.
Nova Mariska, Salma Tasya Nurazizah, Mabda Rahmadani, Alfia Nur Fitri, Rana Gustian Nugraha ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8267 Thu, 11 Dec 2025 17:27:38 +0800 Implementasi Diferensiasi Pembelajaran untuk Mengatasi Kesenjangan Kemampuan Belajar pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di Kelas IV https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8262
Although differentiated instruction has been widely examined in the context of the Kurikulum Merdeka, research that specifically focuses on its application to address disparities in students’ learning abilities in Pendidikan Pancasila at the elementary school level remains limited. This study aimed to explore in depth the mechanisms underlying millennial parents’ considerations when choosing schools for their children by focusing on six key factors: school reputation as an initial filter, digital branding as the shaper of primary perceptions, teacher quality as the basis for substantive evaluation, flagship programs as institutional differentiators, the physical environment as tangible verification, and word of mouth as the final validation. The study employed a qualitative case study design involving 12 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, supporting observations, and a review of digital documentation, and were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings show that millennial parents’ decisions are shaped by the interaction between symbolic image, digital representations, and empirically verified evidence at the interpersonal level, whereby reputation and digital branding function as triggers of initial perceptions, while teacher quality, flagship programs, and the school environment serve as the ultimate determinants of trust. These results contribute to the development of educational brand equity theory by adding the dimension of digital credibility and provide methodological enrichment by demonstrating the importance of qualitative approaches for understanding the motives and processes underpinning educational decision-making. Practically, the study underscores the need for consistency between digital branding and schools’ actual practices, the strengthening of teachers’ capacity as the primary representatives of the brand, and the optimization of testimonial-based communication strategies. This study aimed to analyze tengka as the ethical foundation of communication within Madurese society and to examine shifts in the use of the Madurese language, especially its speech levels, under the influence of globalization. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, involving members of the Madurese linguistic community selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, cultural observation, and literature review, and were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns of meaning and communicative practices associated with tengka. The findings show that the levels of the Madurese language (very refined, refined, and coarse) function as a social mechanism for expressing respect, maintaining harmony, and upholding the value of tengka. However, the dominance of the Indonesian language in public spaces and rapid social change have weakened younger generations’ understanding of speech levels and the value of tengka. These findings reinforce cross-cultural communication ethics theory that emphasizes the importance of local norms in maintaining social relations and affirm that tengka plays a central role in shaping communication ethics in Madurese society, despite facing the challenges of modernization. The study’s implications include strengthening the literature on communication ethics rooted in local culture and providing recommendations for local governments, educational institutions, and cultural communities to enhance the preservation of the Madurese language and the value of tengka through cultural education and language revitalization programs, while also opening avenues for further research on the adaptation of tengka in digital contexts and among younger generations.
Anisya Umi Khoiroh, Maimun Maimun, Achmad Sofyan ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8385 Thu, 18 Dec 2025 06:21:23 +0800 Peranan Overthinking terhadap Kecemasan Sosial Mahasiswa yang Mengalami Impostor Syndrome https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8389
Social anxiety is one of the mental health problems frequently experienced by university students and affects both academic processes and social life on campus, particularly when it intersects with a tendency toward overthinking and experiences of impostor syndrome. This study aimed to analyze the role of overthinking in social anxiety among students experiencing impostor syndrome. The results showed a significant but weak positive relationship between parasocial relationships and loneliness among adolescent K-Pop fans, with a correlation coefficient of rₛ = 0.316 and a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.01). These findings indicate that the higher the level of adolescents’ parasocial relationships with K-Pop idols, the higher the level of loneliness they experience, thereby providing important implications for parents, educators, and mental health practitioners to pay closer attention to the dynamics of parasocial relationships in the context of adolescents’ use of digital entertainment media.
Clarissa Chrishella Simanjaya, Untung Subroto ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/yasin/article/view/8493 Tue, 23 Dec 2025 21:20:26 +0800
