However, supervision practices in various Islamic educational institutions remain largely influenced by a traditional paradigm that is authoritarian, inspection-oriented, administrative, and focused on fault-finding. This condition reduces the effectiveness of supervision in strengthening teacher professionalism and may generate resistance, weaken motivation, and limit teachers’ creativity. In addition, a gap remains between the modern concept of humanistic and collaborative supervision and its implementation in educational practice. This study aims to examine the transformation of the Islamic education supervision paradigm toward a collaborative-humanistic supervision model and to analyze the integration of Islamic values in its implementation. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach through a review of books and scholarly articles related to Islamic education supervision. The findings indicate that Islamic education supervision has shifted from a control-based approach toward a professional development model that is more humanistic, democratic, participatory, and reflective. The collaborative-humanistic approach is considered relevant to contemporary Islamic education because it positions teachers as professional partners rather than objects of inspection. Clinical supervision also emerges as an effective model for improving learning quality through dialogical and reflective processes. The integration of the values of amanah, ihsan, musyawarah, and islah strengthens the distinctive character of Islamic education supervision by ensuring that supervision is not only directed toward competence improvement but also toward teachers’ moral and spiritual development. This study contributes theoretically to the development of Islamic education supervision literature and provides practical implications for supervisors, school leaders, and Islamic educational institutions in implementing supervision that is collaborative, humanistic, reflective, and grounded in Islamic values.
Ariyanto Ariyanto Meti Fatimah ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2026-06-02 2026-06-02 6 4 3265 3281 10.58578/tsaqofah.v6i4.10381 Strategi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Membentuk Perilaku Religius Siswa Autis https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/tsaqofah/article/view/10427
Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is oriented not only toward the transmission of knowledge about Islamic teachings, but also toward the formation of students’ personality and religious behavior. However, PAI learning for autistic students requires specific strategies because they have characteristics such as communication barriers, limited social interaction, and a tendency toward concrete and visual thinking. This study aims to examine PAI learning strategies in shaping the religious behavior of autistic students. This study used a qualitative approach with a library research method through a review of relevant literature on PAI learning strategies, the characteristics of autistic children, and the formation of religious behavior. The results of the review show that effective learning strategies for autistic students in PAI learning include an individual approach, the use of visual media, the provision of simple and gradual instructions, positive reinforcement, and the creation of a structured and consistent learning environment. These strategies need to be implemented based on learning principles that are structured, patterned, programmed, consistent, and continuous. These findings affirm that PAI teachers have a central role as educators, facilitators, motivators, and evaluators in supporting the formation of religious behavior among autistic students. The conclusion of the study shows that adaptive and consistent PAI learning strategies can help autistic students develop religious behavior in accordance with their abilities and learning characteristics. The implications of this study provide theoretical contributions to the development of inclusive PAI learning studies, as well as practical implications for teachers in designing learning that is more individual, visual, structured, and oriented toward the formation of individuals who are faithful, pious, and noble in character.
Riski Kristianto Pambudi Joko Subando ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2026-06-04 2026-06-04 6 4 3282 3293 10.58578/tsaqofah.v6i4.10427 Ruh, Nafs, Aql, Qalb, dan Fitrah sebagai Potensi Dasar Manusia dalam Menjalankan Fungsi sebagai 'Abdullah: Tinjauan Filosofis dan Implikasinya dalam Pendidikan Islam https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/tsaqofah/article/view/10479
Human beings in the Islamic perspective are creatures endowed with fundamental potentials originating from spiritual and physical dimensions. This study focuses on how ruh, nafs, ‘aql, qalb, and fitrah as basic human potentials can be understood philosophically and implied in Islamic education, particularly in the formation of a true ‘Abdullah. This study aims to analyze the nature of these five basic human potentials philosophically and integratively and to formulate their implications for curriculum development and Islamic educational practice. This study used a library research method with philosophical-analytical and descriptive-comparative approaches. Data were collected from primary sources in the form of the Qur’an, hadith, and the works of Muslim philosophers, as well as secondary sources in the form of reputable national and international journals published in the last decade. The data were analyzed using content analysis and critical-comparative techniques. The results showed that these five potentials are not separate entities but an integrative system that mutually supports one another: ruh as a divine substance, nafs as the totality of the self, ‘aql as a rational instrument, qalb as the center of spiritual consciousness, and fitrah as a primordial orientation toward monotheism. These potentials collectively underlie human ability to carry out the function of ‘Abdullah, or servant of Allah. The pedagogical implications of this study include the reconstruction of a curriculum based on spiritual potentials, the development of learning methods that integrate cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions, and the strengthening of the teacher’s role as a guide for students’ souls. The conclusion of this study affirms that authentic Islamic education needs to position the holistic development of ruh, nafs, ‘aql, qalb, and fitrah as the main foundation for realizing educational goals that culminate in total servitude to Allah Swt.
Muhammad Shidiq Siti Rohimah ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2026-06-07 2026-06-07 6 4 3294 3305 10.58578/tsaqofah.v6i4.10479 Pendidikan Anak dalam Psikologi Pendidikan Islam: Kajian Konseptual dan Teoritis https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/tsaqofah/article/view/10480
Child education from the perspective of Islamic educational psychology is a holistic process that is oriented not only toward the development of cognitive aspects but also toward the comprehensive formation of children’s character, moral, spiritual, emotional, and social dimensions. This study aims to analyze the concept of child education in Islamic educational psychology, identify factors that influence children’s development, examine effective educational methods, and explore the challenges of its implementation in the modern era. This study used a literature study or library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach through the examination of various relevant primary and secondary sources. The data were analyzed using content analysis through the processes of identifying, classifying, synthesizing, and drawing conclusions from various literature findings. The results of the study show that child education in Islam places the values of monotheism, moral character, compassion, and balance between spiritual and intellectual aspects as the main foundation of education. Children’s development is influenced by family, school, and social environmental factors that play a role in shaping character and social skills. Effective educational methods include a holistic approach, active learning, role modeling, and the integration of Islamic values throughout the educational process. On the other hand, technological development and globalization are challenges that require adaptive strategies through collaboration among families, schools, and communities. The conclusion of this study affirms that Islamic educational psychology provides a comprehensive educational framework for shaping children who are intelligent, noble in character, spiritually mature, and able to face the dynamics of modern life.
Priyanto Priyanto Siti Rohimah ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2026-06-07 2026-06-07 6 4 3306 3323 10.58578/tsaqofah.v6i4.10480 Internalisasi Nilai Spiritualitas melalui Strategi Pedagogis Guru Tahfidz: Respons terhadap Problematika Kesulitan Menghafal Al-Qur'an pada Murid MA al-Islam Surakarta https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/tsaqofah/article/view/10481
The problems of Qur’an memorization among adolescents constitute a complex pedagogical issue because they involve cognitive, psychological, spiritual, and environmental dimensions that interact with one another. This study aims to analyze the strategies of tahfidz teachers in overcoming difficulties in Qur’an memorization among students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Islam Surakarta in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of tahfidz teachers as the main informants, as well as Madrasah Aliyah students and madrasah management as supporting informants. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation, member checking, and researcher reflexivity. The results showed that the main problems faced by students included low concentration, lack of learning motivation, boredom in muroja’ah, and weak time management between general academic workloads and memorization targets. Tahfidz teachers responded to these problems through adaptive pedagogical strategies, including the integration of the talaqqi, tikrar, tasmi’, and muroja’ah methods, personal approaches and the development of intrinsic motivation, the creation of a conducive learning environment based on spiritual values, and a structured and continuous memorization evaluation system. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of tahfidz teachers’ strategies is influenced by their ability to integrate modern pedagogical approaches with classical Islamic learning traditions. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of integrative, adaptive, and contextual tahfidz learning strategies in overcoming difficulties in Qur’an memorization in formal madrasahs. This internship activity aimed to study the procedures for in vitro macadamia tissue culture, from the preparation of Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium, sterilization of explants, tools, and materials, incubation, to subculture. The activity was carried out at the UPTD Balai Sertifikasi dan Perbenihan Tanaman Hutan (BSPTH) Dinas Kehutanan Provinsi Sumatera Barat from January 5 to February 15, 2026. The explants used were young shoots of macadamia plants grown on MS medium supplemented with the plant growth regulator BAP. A total of 81 explants were observed during the culture process. The observations showed that 34 explants (41.98%) grew successfully without contamination, whereas 47 explants (58.02%) experienced fungal and bacterial contamination as well as browning. The high level of contamination was presumed to be related to the presence of endophytic contaminants, the suboptimal sterilization protocol, and the condition of explants originating from open field conditions. Browning can be managed through the addition of antioxidants, such as PVP, activated charcoal, and ascorbic acid, to the medium. This activity confirms that tissue culture has the potential to become an alternative method for macadamia propagation, but its success is highly dependent on the optimization of explant sterilization and the control of tissue browning. This study aims to analyze the relationship between four main learning theories, namely behaviorism, cognitivism, constructivism, and humanism, and Islamic learning practices through the mulazamah method, as well as their implications for students’ understanding of Islamic knowledge. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were examined through the search and analysis of relevant literature on learning theories, Islamic pedagogy, the mulazamah method, the epistemology of Islamic knowledge, and pesantren educational practices. The results of the study show that the mulazamah method is a classical Islamic pedagogical system rooted in the learning tradition of the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and characterized by intensive closeness between teacher and student, exemplary conduct, habituation, deepening of knowledge, and the formation of adab. This method represents the integration of behaviorist principles through habituation, cognitivism through strengthening understanding, constructivism through the internalization of learning experiences, and humanism through the holistic development of students’ personalities. The conclusion of this study affirms that the mulazamah method has the potential to become an integrative Islamic learning model because it is able to form a comprehensive understanding of Islamic knowledge while also developing students’ knowledgeable and well-mannered character. This article aims to theoretically examine three main components of educator competence in Islamic education, namely teachers’ scholarly competence, teachers’ exemplary adab, and religious education. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach to various relevant literature sources. The results of the study show that teachers’ scholarly competence includes mastery of the dimensions of Islamic knowledge, pedagogical competence, and adaptive ability in response to developments in the digital era. Teachers’ exemplary adab plays an important role in shaping students’ character through the internalization of values, attitudes, and behaviors that reflect Islamic morality. Meanwhile, religious education functions as a comprehensive medium of transformation that includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions in forming insan kamil. The conclusion of this study affirms that teachers’ scholarly competence, exemplary adab, and religious education constitute a mutually reinforcing unity: scholarly competence serves as the foundation for the validity of knowledge transfer, exemplary adab serves as a bridge for value internalization, and religious education serves as a means of forming a complete Muslim personality. This article aims to examine the concept of human psychology from the perspective of the Qur’an, explain the principles of Islamic educational psychology contained therein, analyze the views of scholars, particularly Imam Al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah, and describe its implications for the educational process. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The results of the study show that the concept of psychology in the Qur’an includes three main principles, namely the principle of fitrah, tazkiyatun nafs or purification of the soul, and the use of reason in learning. Classical scholars emphasize that Islamic education must focus on the cultivation of the heart, purification of the soul, and holistic development of morality. The conclusion of this study affirms that Islamic educational psychology from the perspective of the Qur’an positions humans as multidimensional beings who have spiritual, intellectual, moral, and emotional dimensions that need to be developed in a balanced manner. Although this phenomenon has been studied in various disciplines, discussions that integratively analyze the process, causal factors, and preventive strategies for the Muslim community still require conceptual strengthening. This study aims to analyze the process and factors that influence religious conversion and to formulate relevant preventive strategies for the Muslim community. This study used a qualitative approach with a literature review method through the synthesis of various academic sources, journals, and relevant texts. The results of the study show that religious conversion occurs through several stages, namely pre-conversion, searching, conversion experience as a turning point, and consolidation of belief. Internal factors that influence conversion include identity crisis, the search for meaning in life, profound spiritual experience, and theological awareness, while external factors include the social environment, interfaith marriage, exposure to digital media, economic conditions, and the influence of religious figures or communities. The case studies reviewed show diverse patterns of conversion according to individual backgrounds, ranging from rational intellectual searching to sudden spiritual shifts. The conclusion of this study affirms that religious conversion needs to be understood as a multidimensional process influenced by personal and social dynamics. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of regulation and the direction of reformulating sharia economic law within the national political configuration after the Reformasi era. This study examines the development of sharia economic law regulations, the integration of Islamic socio-political ideas into the national legal system, and the need to renew legal materials to make them more applicable and oriented toward public welfare. The results of the study show that the more conducive political climate after the Reformasi era has encouraged the positivization of sharia economic law, as reflected in the enactment of Law Number 10 of 1998, Law Number 21 of 2008, and the expansion of the authority of the Religious Courts through Law Number 3 of 2006 to adjudicate sharia economic disputes. These findings show that political reform plays an important role in strengthening the legal legitimacy of sharia economic law as part of the national legal system. The conclusion of the study affirms that strengthening sharia economic law legislation in the future requires comprehensive codification through re-examination (i‘adah al-nadhar) and the development of legal materials that go beyond the limits of school-of-law unification so as to be more responsive to societal needs. The implications of this study provide theoretical contributions to the development of the legal politics of sharia economics as well as practical recommendations for policymakers in formulating regulations that are applicable, inclusive, and oriented toward public welfare.
Muhammad Yusuf Muhammad Ramadhani Ahmadi Hasan Mujiburohman A. This study aims to analyze the political, intellectual, and social dynamics of Islam in Spain through a critical historical perspective in order to understand the factors that influenced the development of Andalusian civilization. This study used a qualitative approach with a library research design. Data were obtained through documentation studies of various scholarly sources, including books, journal articles, and relevant academic documents, then analyzed using content analysis techniques through the stages of data organization, interpretation, and synthesis. The results of the study show that the advancement of Islamic civilization in Andalusia was supported by political stability, the development of scholarly traditions, and a society capable of managing diversity in a relatively harmonious manner. Conversely, the weakening of political unity, the decline of intellectual activity, and the reduction of social cohesion contributed to the decline of this civilization. The conclusion of the study affirms that the development of a civilization is the result of multidimensional interaction among political, intellectual, and social factors, and therefore cannot be explained through a single dimension alone. One relevant approach is the gamification learning model, namely the application of game elements in a learning context to create a more engaging, interactive, and meaningful learning experience. This study aims to examine the concept, characteristics, implementation steps, benefits, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the gamification learning model in the learning process. This study uses a library research method by analyzing various relevant scholarly literature on gamification in education. The results of the review show that gamification can increase students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation through the use of game elements, such as points, badges, leaderboards, levels, rewards, and challenges. Gamification also encourages active participation, collaboration, healthy competition, and students’ critical thinking skills. The implementation of gamification can be carried out through various digital media, such as Kahoot, Quizizz, Wordwall, Educandy, Gimkit, and barcode scanners, adjusted to the learning objectives. Although it has various advantages, the implementation of gamification requires careful planning, technological readiness, and appropriate learning management so that the learning orientation does not shift merely toward the achievement of rewards. The conclusion of the study affirms that gamification can serve as an innovative learning model alternative that is relevant to the characteristics of students in the digital era. This study aims to reconstruct the concept of readiness for marriage from the perspective of Islamic Educational Psychology through the integration of spiritual, emotional, and social maturity as the foundation for forming a sakinah family. This study uses a library research method with a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data were obtained from the Qur’an, Hadith, psychology literature, Islamic educational psychology, and previous research findings relevant to readiness for marriage, then analyzed using content analysis techniques to formulate a comprehensive conceptual construction of readiness for marriage. The results of the study show that readiness for marriage from the perspective of Islamic Educational Psychology is a condition of individual maturity that includes three main dimensions, namely spiritual maturity in the form of the quality of faith, piety, and understanding of the purpose of marriage; emotional maturity in the form of the ability to manage emotions, resolve conflicts, and build healthy communication; and social maturity in the form of the ability to carry out family roles, adapt to the social environment, and take responsibility for household life. The integration of these three dimensions produces a more holistic model of readiness for marriage than Western psychological approaches, which tend to be oriented toward individual aspects. The conclusion of the study affirms that readiness for marriage needs to be built through a balance of spiritual, emotional, and social dimensions as the basis for forming a sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah family. The implications of this study indicate the importance of strengthening premarital education based on Islamic Educational Psychology as a preventive effort to build family resilience and reduce the risk of household conflict.
Dony Agus Prasetyo Siti Rokhimah ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2026-06-24 2026-06-24 6 4 3697 3708 10.58578/tsaqofah.v6i4.10833 Pengaruh Model Discovery Learning terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa pada Pelajaran IPA https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/tsaqofah/article/view/10842
Understanding science concepts is an important ability that needs to be developed among elementary school students so that they can meaningfully understand natural phenomena, including material on changes in forms of energy.
