In this context, religious counselors have a strategic role in improving community religiosity through various religious guidance activities. This study aimed to analyze the role of religious counselors in improving community religiosity in Sobo Village, Pacitan Regency. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving 10 participants consisting of religious counselors, community leaders, and residents. The results showed that religious counselors played a role in improving community religiosity through worship guidance, enhancement of religious understanding, and strengthening of socio-religious activities. Nevertheless, the level of community religiosity showed variations influenced by internal and external factors. These findings confirm that religious counselors have an important function as facilitators of religious guidance as well as agents of social change in the religious life of the community. The implications of this study indicate the need to strengthen the role of religious counselors in designing more contextual, participatory, and sustainable guidance activities to improve community religiosity.
2026-05-01T17:15:01+08:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/anwarul/article/view/9911Strengthening Children's Character through Homeschooling in Islamic Education2026-05-04T17:09:40+08:00Fatma Izzatun Najwa[email protected]Maulin Maulin[email protected]Ajahari Ajahari[email protected]
Children’s character development today faces challenges due to social changes and technological advances that have contributed to the weakening of the values of discipline, responsibility, and religiosity. This study aimed to analyze the role of homeschooling in strengthening children’s character based on the perspective of Islamic Education. This study used a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach through a review of various relevant literature, including books, journals, and scientific articles. Data were collected through documentation study and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results showed that homeschooling in Islamic Education plays an important role in shaping children’s character through an integrated family environment. The dominant characters formed include being religious, independent, disciplined, honest, responsible, caring, and courteous. The process of strengthening character takes place through learning flexibility, habituation to worship, parental role modeling, family interaction, and consistent supervision. These findings confirm that homeschooling functions not only as an alternative form of education but also as a strategic means of strengthening children’s character based on Islamic values. The implications of this study indicate that parents have a central role as educators as well as the primary character builders of children within the family environment.
2026-05-04T17:09:40+08:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/anwarul/article/view/10025Konstruksi Minat Belajar Anak pada Masyarakat Miskin di Desa Losari, Pacitan2026-05-08T20:57:06+08:00Helmi Himawan Jauhar[email protected]Dian Tias Aorta[email protected]
The issue of children’s low learning interest in poor communities has received attention in various previous studies, but research specifically discussing the social construction of learning interest in the context of interactions among economic, family, and social environmental factors remains limited. This study aimed to explore in depth the construction of children’s learning interest in poor communities in Losari Village. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 15 participants consisting of school-age children, parents, and teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and literature studies, and then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results showed that children’s learning interest was significantly influenced by family economic conditions, which encouraged children to prioritize economic activities over formal education. In addition, low parental support, limited learning assistance, and negative perceptions of the benefits of education further reinforced low learning interest. Social environmental factors also played an important role in shaping children’s mindsets, particularly through peer influence and community norms that did not fully support educational continuity. These findings indicate that learning interest is a social construction formed through the interaction of structural and cultural factors, rather than merely an individual factor. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of interventions that are not only economic but also social and cultural through strengthening the role of families and communities. The implications of this study are relevant for policymakers and educational institutions in designing strategies to increase educational participation that are systematic, contextual, and sustainable.
2026-05-08T20:57:06+08:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/anwarul/article/view/10096Penerapan Model Kooperatif Tipe TGT untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Belajar Muatan Pendidikan Pancasila Kelas V2026-05-12T21:07:48+08:00Iyan Iyan[email protected]Gina Anisahira[email protected]Ritha Tuken[email protected]
Although cooperative learning models have been widely studied, research specifically addressing the improvement of learning engagement through the integration of Kahoot in the topic “Norms in My Life” at the elementary school level remains limited. This study aims to analyze and describe the improvement of fifth-grade students’ learning engagement through the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by Kahoot. This study used a qualitative approach with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, involving 34 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation sheets, learning engagement questionnaires, and documentation, and were then analyzed using the qualitative descriptive analysis technique of the interactive model of Huberman and Saldana. The results showed that the implementation of the Kahoot-assisted TGT model was able to change students’ learning behavior from passive to more proactive, with learning engagement increasing from the low category at the beginning of the cycle to 83.54%, or the high category, at the end of Cycle II. This improvement was supported by the teacher’s instructional effectiveness, which reached 94.44%. These findings contribute to the development of digital cooperative learning and broaden understanding of the use of gamification in Pancasila Education content. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of synergy between competitive games and digital technology in creating a dynamic learning ecosystem, and recommends optimizing digital instructional time management in its implementation. The implications of this study include strengthening the literature on digital cooperative learning and the practice of implementing the activity-based Independent Curriculum, while also opening opportunities for further studies on the long-term impact of gamification on students’ retention of normative values.
2026-05-13T20:16:40+08:00Alianto Alianto[email protected]Nur Cholis Agus Santoso[email protected]
Although the analysis of exercises in Arabic language textbooks has received attention in several previous studies, research specifically examining the exercises in the book Mukhtarat Qawa’id al-Lughah al-‘Arabiyyah remains limited. This study aims to analyze the exercises in the book and identify their cognitive levels based on the revised Bloom’s Taxonomy. This study used a qualitative approach with a content analysis design, involving all exercises in the nahwu and sharaf sections, totaling 103 exercises. Data were collected through an analytical instrument based on operational verbs referring to cognitive levels and were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques through frequency and percentage calculations. The results showed that the exercises were dominated by low to moderate cognitive levels. The levels of remembering (C1) and understanding (C2) occupied the highest positions, each with a percentage of 34%, followed by applying (C3) at 19% and analyzing (C4) at 13%. Meanwhile, the levels of evaluating (C5) and creating (C6) were not found. In addition, the sharaf section only covered the levels of understanding and applying, whereas the nahwu section covered four cognitive levels. These findings contribute to the development of Bloom’s Taxonomy theory in the context of Arabic language learning and broaden understanding of the characteristics of exercises in textbooks. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of developing exercises that include higher-order thinking skills. Therefore, the authors suggest that curriculum developers and educators design more varied exercises, including those at the levels of analysis, evaluation, and creation. The implications of this study include a theoretical contribution to enriching content analysis studies of Arabic language textbooks, as well as practical implications for educational institutions in improving the quality of learning. This study also opens opportunities for further research that examines the effect of exercises on language proficiency in a more applied manner.
2026-05-13T20:16:40+08:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/anwarul/article/view/10133Implementasi Metode Game Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Fiqih2026-05-15T06:44:28+08:00Riska Fatimatus Janah[email protected]Amrini Shofiyani[email protected]
Fiqh learning requires an innovative and student-centered approach so that the learning process becomes more active, engaging, and easier to understand. One approach that can be used is Game-Based Learning, namely electronic or digital game-based learning designed to support the achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Game-Based Learning method on increasing students’ interest and learning outcomes in the Fiqh subject at MA Mambaul Ulum Megaluh Jombang. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-test–post-test design. The research subjects consisted of 37 Grade XI students who participated in Fiqh learning on the topics of marriage and divorce. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and tests, and were then analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and paired t-test to determine the significant effect. The results showed that the implementation of the Game-Based Learning method had a significant effect on increasing students’ learning interest, with a significance value of 0.01 < 0.05. However, students’ ability to connect fraction material with real-life contexts still needs to be examined in greater depth, particularly among Grade V students at SD Inpres Pa’Bangiang, Gowa Regency. This study aims to analyze students’ mathematical connection skills in relating the concept of fractions to everyday life. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach involving 30 Grade V students as research subjects. Data were collected through tests, interviews, and documentation, with instruments in the form of essay questions on fraction material containing indicators of mathematical connection skills. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students’ mathematical connection skills were in the moderate category. Some students were able to connect the concept of fractions with everyday activities, such as sharing food, measuring cooking ingredients, and buying and selling transactions. However, difficulties were still found in relating the concept of fractions to other mathematical representations and applying it to more complex contextual situations. Factors influencing this condition included a lack of contextual learning, low understanding of basic fraction concepts, and limited use of learning media. These findings indicate the importance of implementing more innovative, contextual, and real-experience-based learning strategies to improve elementary school students’ mathematical connection skills. The implications of this study provide practical contributions for teachers in designing more meaningful fraction learning and strengthening students’ understanding of the relationship between mathematical concepts and everyday life.
2026-06-01T00:00:00+08:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/anwarul/article/view/10368Penguatan Pemahaman Moderasi Beragama Mahasiswa Teknik Komputer melalui Project-Based Learning Berbasis Kampanye Digital2026-06-01T16:05:51+08:00Baso Ilyas[email protected]
The rapid development of the internet and social media has increased young people’s exposure to various forms of religious information, including intolerant content and exclusive religious narratives in digital spaces. This condition requires the strengthening of religious moderation that is appropriate to the characteristics of students in engineering-related disciplines, who have a high intensity of digital interaction. This study aims to evaluate the contribution of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) based on digital visual campaigns to Computer Engineering students’ understanding and interpretation of religious moderation. This study used a mixed-methods approach with a convergent parallel design. The research participants consisted of 45 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and reflective essays after the entire project sequence had been completed. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed through thematic analysis. The results showed that students gave positive responses to the implementation of PjBL and the use of digital visual campaigns in religious moderation learning. A total of 51.1% of respondents strongly agreed and 48.9% agreed that visual media were effective in conveying messages of peace. Students’ reflections showed that intolerance was understood not only as a matter of differences in belief but also as related to disinformation, hate speech, and low digital literacy. Students also interpreted the concept of ummatan wasathan as an encouragement to be fair, critical, and not easily provoked in responding to information on social media. However, 26.7% of respondents gave neutral responses regarding the effectiveness of PjBL compared with the lecture method, indicating that support through conceptual explanation remains necessary in the learning process. These findings show that PjBL based on digital visual campaigns contributes positively to helping students connect the values of religious moderation with religious issues in digital spaces. The implications of this study affirm the importance of integrating digital religious literacy and contextual learning activities into Islamic Religious Education in higher education.
2026-06-01T16:05:51+08:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/anwarul/article/view/10452Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran MOTIF (Monopoli Edukatif Fikih) pada Mata Pelajaran Fikih di MA al-Bairuny2026-06-06T09:18:44+08:00Nadia Falasifah[email protected]Khoirun Nisa'[email protected]Chusnul Chotimah[email protected]
The low learning interest of students, influenced by the dominance of lecture methods and conventional learning, became the basis for developing MOTIF, or Educational Fiqh Monopoly, learning media in the Fiqh subject at MA Al-Bairuny. However, in learning practice, differences in difficulties and learning outcomes among students are still found, which are presumed to be related to variations in learning styles. This study aims to determine students’ learning styles, Fiqh learning outcomes on the topic of prayer, and the relationship between learning styles and learning outcomes among Grade VII students at MTsN 16 Jombang. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design and involved 21 students as the sample. Data were collected through a learning style questionnaire consisting of 15 statement items and a learning outcome test comprising 12 multiple-choice questions and 10 essay questions. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, the Levene Test for homogeneity, and the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed that students’ learning styles were diverse, with a dominant tendency toward the kinesthetic learning style. Fiqh learning outcomes on the topic of prayer obtained an average score of 78.90. The correlation test results showed a value of r = –0.013 with Sig. = 0.957 (p > 0.05), indicating that there was no significant relationship between learning styles and Fiqh learning outcomes on the topic of prayer among Grade VII students at MTsN 16 Jombang. Thus, H₀ was accepted and Hₐ was rejected. The conclusion of this study affirms that learning style is not the main factor influencing Fiqh learning outcomes on the topic of prayer. These findings imply the need for teachers to pay attention to other factors, such as learning motivation, discipline, interest, and learning strategies, in efforts to improve students’ learning outcomes.
2026-06-13T00:00:00+08:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/anwarul/article/view/10743Pengaruh Pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak Berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Sukorame2026-06-19T20:04:53+08:00Anggraeni Dwi Cahyani[email protected]Amrini Shofiyani[email protected]
Aqidah Akhlak learning at SMPN 1 Sukorame is still dominated by conventional teacher-centered methods through one-way lectures, resulting in low student activeness, intellectual engagement, and learning outcomes. Drawing on constructivist epistemology, this qualitative study involved 30 students engaged in economic activities, their parents, and relevant teachers, selected through purposive and snowball sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant and non-participant observations, and document review, and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. Triangulation, member checking, and audit trails were employed to ensure trustworthiness. The findings identify two predominant parenting patterns: supportive-productive parenting (60%) and pragmatic-economic parenting (40%). Students from supportive-productive families demonstrated stronger learning commitment, reflected in consistent study routines, active classroom participation, timely assignment completion, and future educational orientation. This pattern emerged because parents combined students’ economic involvement with emotional support, learning supervision, and flexible time management. In contrast, pragmatic-economic families prioritized immediate financial contributions, resulting in role conflict, irregular study schedules, reduced intrinsic motivation, and lower academic engagement. Although 21 of the 30 students participated in economic activities, the impact on learning commitment depended on how families integrated work responsibilities with educational expectations. The study concludes that economic constraints do not deterministically reduce students’ learning commitment; rather, parental framing, interaction quality, and educational expectations mediate students’ academic engagement. These findings contribute to the literature on family education and student commitment by highlighting the relational mechanisms through which economically oriented parenting shapes learning behavior. Practical implications include family-focused interventions, parenting training, flexible school schedules, scholarships, and temporary economic assistance to help students reconcile work and study responsibilities.
2026-06-19T20:20:21+08:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/anwarul/article/view/10760Perancangan Website JAMQOS (Jamak Qoshor) Berbasis Google Sites pada Mata Pelajaran Fiqih di Kelas VII MTSN 3 Jombang2026-06-20T08:13:55+08:00Fenda Enjelita[email protected]Hidayatur Rohmah[email protected]Chusnul Chotimah[email protected]
Students’ low interest in learning the Fiqih subject, particularly the material on shalat jamak and qoshor, is one of the learning problems influenced by the dominance of lecture methods and the use of printed media that are less appealing to students.
