This study aims to explore the role of Randai in strengthening Minangkabau cultural identity in Muaro Takung. This study employed a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design, involving 20 Randai studio participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews, and document analysis, and were then analyzed thematically. The findings show that Randai is integrated into traditional rituals, such as birth, marriage, and death, without depending on a formal stage. Randai practice combines elements of silat, dance, music, and gurindam based on the values of adat basandi syarak. These findings indicate that Randai functions not only as a form of folk performing art but also as a medium for value transmission, the strengthening of social solidarity, and the affirmation of Minangkabau cultural identity. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of preserving Randai studios by the younger generation as a strategy for maintaining the sustainability of local culture amid the currents of globalization. The implications of this study provide a theoretical contribution to the development of studies on folk performing arts and the cultural resilience of rantau, as well as practical implications for the integration of Randai into cultural education and the development of Sijunjung tourism. This study also opens opportunities for further research on the Randai diaspora in the broader context of Minangkabau society.
2026-07-06T08:38:13+08:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/aldyas/article/view/11131 Penyelenggaraan Turnamen SSB sebagai Upaya Pembinaan Sepak Bola Usia Dini di Nagari Muaro Takung 2026-07-09T20:53:02+08:00 Wawan Wahyudi [email protected] Sabrina Syifaussholiha [email protected] Nurhaliza Tarihoran [email protected] Togos Parmohonan [email protected] Aldo Rado [email protected] Randi Purnama Putra [email protected]
Although early-age football coaching plays an important role in developing athletes’ potential, the limited availability of structured competitions in Nagari Muaro Takung has resulted in low match opportunities for players, making the coaching process less than optimal. This study aims to describe the organization of a Football School tournament as an effort to support early-age football coaching through the utilization of community potential. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design based on the Asset-Based Community Development approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, analysis, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the tournament successfully involved six Football Schools with a total of 12 participating teams. The round-robin system was applied in the U-10 category, while the U-12 category used a half-competition system followed by a knockout stage. The implementation of the tournament was supported by collaboration among KKN students, the nagari government, youth organizations, Football School administrators, match officials, and the community. This tournament provided more equal playing opportunities, improved players’ match experience, technical skills, and sportsmanship, and strengthened synergy among stakeholders in early-age football coaching. The conclusion of this study affirms that organizing a Football School tournament based on the Asset-Based Community Development approach can serve as an effective coaching model through the optimization of local assets. The implications of this study show that community collaboration and the application of a competition system suited to the characteristics of early-age players have the potential to support the organization of sustainable competitions that can be replicated in other regions.
2026-07-09T20:53:02+08:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/aldyas/article/view/11284 Praktik Manajemen Humas dalam Meningkatkan Citra Lembaga melalui Pemberitaan di LPP RRI Takengon 2026-07-14T20:09:13+08:00 Farid Fauzi [email protected]
Field practice is a form of applied learning aimed at enhancing students’ competencies through the application of theory in the workplace. This article aimed to describe the implementation of public relations management by students of the Islamic Education Management Study Program at IAIN Takengon during their field practice at Lembaga Penyiaran Publik RRI Takengon. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, direct participation, interviews, and documentation during the field practice. The findings showed that public relations management at LPP RRI Takengon had implemented the functions of planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision in managing news reporting. The students were involved in preparing news agendas, conducting news coverage, writing news reports, documentation, and publication through broadcast and digital media. These activities provided practical experience in developing competencies in communication, teamwork, news writing, digital media management, and workplace professionalism. This practice also strengthened students’ understanding of the strategic role of public relations in establishing public communication and enhancing the institution’s image through accurate, objective, and responsible news reporting. These findings confirm that field practice at a broadcasting institution can serve as an effective means of integrating the managerial, communication, and professional competencies of Islamic Education Management students.
2026-07-14T20:09:13+08:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://ejournal.yasin-alsys.org/aldyas/article/view/11272 Meningkatkan Disiplin Anak melalui Kegiatan Pretend Play Mini Market di Taman Kanak-Kanak Zahara Kota Bengkulu 2026-07-15T21:10:55+08:00 Siti Patimah Nur [email protected] Nur Hazizah [email protected]
Discipline is an important aspect of early childhood social-emotional development. However, some children still experience difficulties in following rules, waiting for their turn, and completing tasks properly, including Group B children at TK Zahara, Bengkulu City. This condition indicates the need for learning activities that are engaging and appropriate to the developmental characteristics of young children. This study aimed to improve children’s discipline through a mini-market pretend play activity in Group B at TK Zahara, Bengkulu City. The study employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, with each cycle comprising the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 15 Group B children. Data were collected through observation and documentation. The results showed an improvement in children’s discipline at each stage of the intervention. In the pre-cycle stage, the average achievement of children’s discipline was 33%. Following the implementation of Cycle I, this achievement increased to 47%, categorized as developing, and then increased further to 80% in Cycle II, categorized as developing very well. Improvements in discipline were evident in the children’s ability to queue, follow the rules of the game, and complete tasks. This study concludes that the mini-market pretend play activity was effective in improving the discipline of Group B children at TK Zahara, Bengkulu City. These findings provide practical implications for teachers regarding the use of role-play as an engaging learning activity to stimulate discipline development in early childhood.
2026-07-15T21:10:55+08:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
